Advantages Advantages A lovely bedtime story to help your little one drift off peacefully.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none!

As a Parent, bedtime for your children can either be the most dreaded or most favoured time of the day. If your lucky enough to have a child who has always skipped merrily up the stairs to slumber, or, like most of us, have been through various battles and routines to achieve this serene, dreamy, relaxing time with your child, then possibly like me you really enjoy spending this period of calm with your child before they drift off. There's nothing more lovely than the smell of a freshly bathed child, tucked up in bed in a dimly lit room, all warm and content, gazing at you lovingly as you read ... more

Advantages Advantages Got my daughter interested in books, well priced

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

This was written at the beginning of 2011 and there are now more books available in the series. One of our daughters christmas presents when she was 1 year old was a hardback book called Say Hello to the Snowy Animals, at this age our daughter wouldn't entertain sitting and listening to a book so it was put to the back of the wardrobe and forgotten about. About a year or so ago it was rediscovered in the realms of our wardrobe and when we read it she loved it that much that we bought the whole series for her. There are four books in the series, this one, the formentioned above along with Say ... more

Advantages Advantages Cute, animal noises, furry animals

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

This is such a cute little kids book and one we really enjoy reading at bedtime as it gets the kids thinking about saying goodnight and hopefully getting into that sleepy mode. On the back of the book the synopsis is as such, "the moon is up, the stars shine bright, off goes cat to say goodnight. Stroke the soft, furry animals on every page and join in saying goodnight. Woof, hip, tweet!" The cat we meet on the first page is a cute little ginger tabby cat and she meets lots of different animals on her nighttime adventure. She meets a dog, a fox, birds, a barn owl, a field mouse, rabbits and ... more

    5 Stars A lovely book 27/12/2011

Advantages Advantages Very sweet, lovely drawings, nice rhymes

Disadvantages Disadvantages large for little hands to hold

I love reading to my grandchildren and this book is just a lovely one to have. I am very pleased with it and glad I bought it. This book is quite large in size, so big for little toddlers to hold and it is over 20 pages long so I think it is more geared towards slightly older toddlers really as it is longer than what a baby would be interested in. The book takes us through the night time saying good night to the various sleepy animals such as the rabbits and the kittens. The animals on the pages are interactive too as they are fuzzy which provides an interesting texture for small children to ... more

Advantages Advantages A great story, love the touch and feel animals

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

The Book The front of the book is brightly coloured and has the title of the book. It has a cat and her kittens, a dog, rabbit and an owl on the front with a night time scene in the background. All the animals are made of what I think is felt and are soft to the touch. On the back is a line from the book and some more animals, not made of the touch and feel material in another night time scene. My Opinion I was given this book for my daughter’s first birthday and must admit I was pretty impressed when I saw it. Once opened we gave it a read and she seemed to be enthralled, she loved touching ... more
