Goodnight Cat Pur, Pur, Purrrrr.

AdvantagesA lovely bedtime story to help your little one drift off peacefully.

"...bright. Off goes Cat to say goodnight" _ And so cat goes on a journey around a country garden to wish goodnight to all the animals who live there. The story is told in a simple rhyme throughout and is a style my daughter really enjoys listening to, picking up the rhythm and rhyme quickly and being able to join in. I also like reading books to her in rhyme too. Each double page dedicated to a particular animal and having two sentences then a wish ..." Read review

Fantastically furry read

AdvantagesGot my daughter interested in books, well priced

"...was a hardback book called Say Hello to the Snowy Animals, at this age our daughter wouldn't entertain sitting and listening to a book so it was put to the back of the wardrobe and forgotten about. About a year or so ago it was rediscovered in the realms of our wardrobe and when we read it she loved it that much that we bought the whole series for her. There are four books in the series, this one, the formentioned above along with Say Hello to the ..." Read review

Say goodnight

AdvantagesCute, animal noises, furry animals

"...bright, off goes cat to say goodnight. Stroke the soft, furry animals on every page and join in saying goodnight. Woof, hip, tweet!" The cat we meet on the first page is a cute little ginger tabby cat and she meets lots of different animals on her nighttime adventure. She meets a dog, a fox, birds, a barn owl, a field mouse, rabbits and her own little kittens, three that look just like her and one that obviously takes after Daddy. I like that there ..." A lovely book

AdvantagesVery sweet, lovely drawings, nice rhymes

Disadvantageslarge for little hands to hold

"I love reading to my grandchildren and this book is just a lovely one to have. I am very pleased with it and glad I bought it. This book is quite large in size, so big for little toddlers to hold and it is over 20 pages long so I think it is more geared towards slightly older toddlers really as it is longer than what a baby would be interested in. The book takes us through the night time saying good night to the various sleepy animals such as the ..." Read review

My Daughter Loved Saying Goodnight to the Sleepy Animals

AdvantagesA great story, love the touch and feel animals

"...and the field nearby to say goodnight to all the animals. The lines have a lovely rhyme to them and quite short so it keeps my little one entertained. Now that she is older it is her favourite book and I have been known to read it to her five or six times during the day. She loves it when I do all the animal sounds as I go through the book and she makes sure she touches every single animal to give them a stroke. She is also starting to learn how to ..." Read review
