...reading through the pages of Ideal Home is arguably the best method.At least it is legal. Ideal Home ,a glossy,colourful,monthly is published by IPC Publicaions Ltd, and is one of their "quality magazines" There must be quite a lot of people interested in the likes of expensive homes,costly furnishings and interior decoration,for the circulation is around 300,000. The quality is epitomised by its "perfect binding", ie,just like a paperback with glued ...
...and lovely furnishings. Ideal Home has "readers offers" usually for the likes of cases of wine or classy furnishings or household consumer durables. There are also a few shorter,ie,500-1000 word articles on relatively mundane subjects such as credit cards,insurance,dealing with the local council and Ideal Home also publishes a "letters page",for which they pay around 10 pounds for each reader's letter published. What has happened to Ideal Home Magazine..It used to be my favourite buy, but since having a new editor,it has become just another women's magazine - to me anyway. At one time each page was covered with photos of beautiful homes decorated with style and character,however,this is no longer the case. The Ideal Home magazine is one of the best magazines to me. I do buy quite a lot because I think they give more than an a simple idea, but create style, that makes you transform something having identity with you. This is a good magzazine, I would recommend it to anyone hoping for new ideas for decorating and buying a home. It has good illustrations and gives the addresses of all the items which are used in the decorators guide, which is a boon for those of us in the countryside with no access to big city stores. All magazines should do this ! Usually my eyes are drawn to magazines with new ideas to sell on decorating and this one certainly caught my eyes ...
