Advantages: Excellent Picture/Price Disadvantages: Not Found Any Yet
I have been using this 24” (23 I/2” measured diagonally) monitor for the last three weeks now, and I have to say, that I am more than satisfied with it. I bought it on the basis of being a well known brand name, styling, the type of inputs, 2ms, and overall valued for money. Compared to other monitors that I considered, this seems to be one of the best value for money at around £175. Out of the box I had it set up within half an hour or so. Image ... ...are lots of options to choose from should you feel the need to adjust the picture/screen ect. The 16:9 format screen as full hd resolution 1920x1080 so perfect for movie and game fans. Also it as standard, game, movie, scenery and text picture modes. I can’t say what the sound quality is like using the monitor speakers, because I have the sound coming out of a separate sound system that’s connected to my pc. Advantages: Very good picture and ample video in ports. Disadvantages: Low quality built in speakers and no audio out port.
Well, I bought this screen a few months back as I have had my eye on one for a good while now. I was innitally looking at a different version of the screen and ended up buying this one. I tugged this out the box excitedly and set it up on my desk, took under a couple minutes to set the whole thing up and get it running. It has all the right ports for using whatever you want really, a VGA port, a DVI port and an HDMI port in the back, also an audio ... ...screen is extremely good and I am yet to find a single dead pixel after all of these months. Although in my opinion this screen isn't without issues. There is quite a large sound problem involved in the screen, the speakers leave very much to be desired, meaning that you are better off buying yourself a pair of small speakers, but this isn't even an option when using the HDMI cable as I found out because there is a distinct lack of an audio out port, ...
