Advantages Advantages Painless and lasts longer than shaving

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be a bit messy and time consuming

When it comes to removing those unwanted body hairs what I really want to hear is: "New! A cheap and painless way to PERMANENTLY remove body hair!" But that is of course the one thing I don't hear. Instead it's 'No pain, no gain." Yes, if you want a permanent hair removal treatment you have the option of a painful, long winded and expensive process called electrolysis. Which is really only practical for small areas. My hair grows thick and fast and I seem to be waging a constant war against it. Of the temporary hair removal methods I've tried, waxing or plucking hairs is the longest lasting ... more

Advantages Advantages gets rid of unwanted hair, makes yourr skin smooth

    Disadvantages Disadvantages expensive, smells youcky

Immac is a hair removal cream, but I'm sure everybody already knows that. It comes in a white 100ml tube with a spatula to remove the cream afterwards. I've been using immac for quite a while now as it's effective and leaves your legs, or whatever area you are using feeling soft and smooth. To use immac, squeeze some on to your spatula, and spread evenly to cover your hairs. Leave it on for 5 minutes, or no longer than 10 minutes, then remove the cream with the spatula. Then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Then you are hair free!! I usually leave the cream on for 5 minutes, but it does ... more

    Advantages Advantages it removes hair

Disadvantages Disadvantages it smells,it doesn't always work

I have been a user of Immac for around 2 years now and I have always been loyal to this brand. It did what it said it would do,remove hair in roughly 5 minutes without any pain or "patches".It was absolutely perfect for me...Until now! *The packaging* As far as I can remember Immac has always been in a pink and white box.It was very lady like and I quite liked it's packaging. However one saturday afternoon after looking after our dogs, mum and dad had brought me back some of this fantastic hair remover cream with one difference...It was now green and white.'Ah well' I thought,'I aren't one that ... more

I first started using this product because it was recommended to me by my mother. It is very good at removing hair although you often have to leave it on for longer than the recommended time. It leaves your legs feeling very smooth and this lasts alot longer than if you shave. The regrowth is also much softer and not so stubbly. THe one major disadvantage to this product is its smell which can be a little overpowering despite attempts to disguise it. If you don't mind waiting around for ten minutes for the cream to work then it is very effective, if not a little messy. I would recommend this ... more

    Advantages Advantages Effecient

    Disadvantages Disadvantages the smell

Having used Immac products for many years, I can really recommend this cream. It is applied easily, the main disadvantage is the smell which seems to linger in the room for ages afterwards. I have sensitive skin but have never had a reaction and of course a test for this, is recomended before using the first time. The cream washes of easily and certainly removes all hair easily. The using of a deoderant for some time afterwards for me does prove to be a problem but the efficency of the cream outweighs this. The effects also seems to last a long time. ... more

    Advantages Advantages easy to use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages not particularly effective

Hair removal creams have been around for some time now, so you would have thought that by now they would be well on the way to a near perfect product. This is obviously not true. Recently I bought a tube of Immac hair removal cream (with softening oils) in the hope that it would be a lot more effective than the countless creams I’ve tried on and off over the last ten years or so. Priced at £4.15 for a 100ml tube, I decided to give it a go. On a positive note the cream didn't smell as potent as I had remembered and although it wasn't particularly pleasant it wasn't offensive either. The spatula ... more

    Advantages Advantages Painless

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bad result, it's just not complete enough in removing the hair and remember the chemicals on the skin is NOT GOOD FOR YOU!!

Being a fairly hairless girl, I only thought about hair removal when the underarms became a nasty sight. Absolutely dreading the pain, I just delayed hair removal until I was desperate to put on sleeveless dresses to impress the guys. At that moment I thought I go the painless way and tried out a well advertised hair removal cream by immac. Usually, I tend to keep away from the really chemical stuff and I only thought I give it a try as some friends were using it. Neither could I bear the thought of waxing which just pulls the hair out from the roots, ouch. However, it was a wrong decision. I ... more

    Advantages Advantages smells nice

Disadvantages Disadvantages didnt work on me, very messy

I’m sorry some people may like this product but my opinion is that it has got to be the most terrible hair removal cream I have ever tried. I have very hairy legs (I’m embarrassed to admit) and I usually get them waxed but I had seen this cream advertised on TV, I thought great save time, pain, and money...I was wrong... it cost me £4.95 which I suppose isn’t that bad and I didn’t know at the time but I was going to be in allot of pain. ~~~~~Ingredients~~~~~~ Unfortunately I through the box away so I don’t know if they were on there, but there were none on the tube!!! All it says is that it ... more

Advantages Advantages Really smooth legs for a long time, funky packaging, can be used on legs and arms.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Messy, takes ages, smells awful

I first discovered this in superdrug while I was looking for something. I nearly jumped for joy - a CREAM that REMOVED hair from your legs? WOW!! I wanted it, I had to have it. It even had sofening oils - so i would have smooth, silky legs in no time. I wish I hadn't bothered. 'Quick and easy to apply' - maybe, if you're an artist. It took me about 15 minutes to cover my legs and that was tih getting it all over my bathroom - my carpets will never be the same again. And it smelt - real bad. I can just picture myself. It was awkward to use and waiting ten minutes for it to work seems a long ... more

    Advantages Advantages none

Disadvantages Disadvantages doesn;t remove hairs effectively and causes mild irritation

This use of the product has confirmed all my doubts about hair removel creams. Still, I conclude that shaving is the most effective method of hair removal albeit its short effect. This left me a slight irritation and did not remove the hairs at the roots but rather just had them break off in mid way which is really irritating and ugly as well. also, there is a strong pungent smell of ammonia after the use and during the use. The oils do help to soften your skin but not the hairs. I did not recognise any significant difference between the hairs that grew after use of the product and the hairs ... more
