The pot washer turned me on.

AdvantagesReally good value

DisadvantagesDoesn't look good as good as my hubby does in a pinny

"...life, has bought me the Indesit D63 Dishwasher. He says that it is ' to make life easier for me ', but I actually think he is sick of hearing the children complain over who washes and who dries. So here I am ,smiling like a proud new parent , as I talk to you now about the new addition to our humble household. I have had my dishwasher now for about four weeks.I have tested and tried it, poked and prodded it and now I am ready to report my findings ..." Read review

A Godsend

AdvantagesEconomic, user friendly, salt and finisher indicators, economy & short wash

DisadvantagesNone

"I purchased the Indesit about 6 months ago and I have never looked back. The Indesit was highly recommended by a local washer/dishwasher repair company as being one of the best on the market. Not only for its features but that spare parts are readily available if anything ever does go wrong. I have had no problems at all. I find the low salt and finisher indicators very useful, instead of a hit and miss affair about when they should be filled, the ..." Read review

So good it's hard to get!

AdvantagesSalt & Rinse Aid low indicators - quiet - Low energy consumption

DisadvantagesHard to get as it is sold out quite quick

"...my new dishwasher. It's the Indesit D63. And let me tell you it's not been easy getting it as it seems to be flying off the shelfs (well, off the floor - bit big for a shelf). It's got all the standard features of most dishwashers, 12 place settings, 6 programs, etc... but some of the features you don't find on all the other standard dishwashers that it has are; half load, Intense program, Salt low indicator, rinse aid low indicator, adjustable racks, ..." CHEAPER BUT BETTER

AdvantagesEVERY PROGRAMME THAT YOU NEED

DisadvantagesNONE

"...new one. I chose the Indesit because it had all the features and programmes that we need, and it was the best price. I ordered mine from Comet Direct (they have a very good website and you can compare up to five different types to see which is best for you) They had a special offer of free delivery when I ordered it which made it even more appealing. The machine has been duly installed, and touch wood I am extremely delighted with it so far. I normally ..." Read review

GOOD CHOICE IF YOUR ON A TIGHT BUDGET

AdvantagesCHEAP BUT CHEERFUL

DisadvantagesRELIABLITY IS POOR

"...close friends who have had indesit appliances installed, that their dishwashers have been prone to break down quite a bit. This particular dishwasher will take an average of two hours to clean a full load of cutlery and dishes, etc. Overall the cleaning ability and range of features were adequate for a machine of this type. The two biggest flaws with this model are it's tendency to breakdown quite frequently, especially if it is being used often ..." Read review

Breakdown after 1.5 yrs

AdvantagesVariety of programmes

DisadvantagesReliability

"Although I've found this dishwasher easy to use and it generally gets things very clean - unless it's stuff that has really dried on, I have concerns over its reliability. My D63 stopped working last night. The engineer says that the main motor has gone and it will cost £120 to replace. I only bought it 1.5 yrs ago and I don't think this is good enough. I haven't even used it that heavily - 3 x a week at most! Perhaps you get what you pay for, ..." Read review
