I had a disappointing experience with a Servis washing machine, but my next one which was an Indesit, had been giving me good service for years when my tumble dryer broke down, so I was going to seriously consider this brand for a replacement tumble dryer. I would have bought another brand ... Read review

Advantages: Good value for money, and does everything I need it to. Disadvantages: Noise level louder than some of the more expensive dryers.
...*The specifications*
The Indesit IS60V met all the specifications I thought were essential, ie the first seven that I am going to tell you about, and also had two extra good points to make it even better.
The capacity is 6kg. I don’t often use my dryer to the maximum, but I like it to be this high for bulkier items. The main reason I don’t fill it to the maximum is that you can greatly reduce the need for ironing, or eliminate it, by tumbling small ... ...For most fabrics I like to hang them up before they are fully dry, easing them into shape if necessary, and letting any creases drop out naturally.
This brings me logically on to the next essential specification for me, which is reverse action. This term means that the drum takes in it turn to rotate in different directions to reduce tangling and creasing.
The dimensions needed to be similar to the old one to fit the space. This one is 85.0 cm ...

Advantages: Fluffy Soft Towels Disadvantages: Makes clothes lose smell of washing powder, makes you lazy
...times out of 10 the indesit wins, the drum lifters are strangley shaped there like a normal shape but half way along they go down and curve alongto the edge of the drum and the other lifter is in the opposite way so they tumble the clothes more efficiently.
Oh and another thing is this machine has reverse tumble which is so good it stops the clothes creasing and dries the clothes quicker!
This machine overall is very good value for money and very ...

Quick review of Indesit IS60V Review ofIndesit IS60Vby

Second IS60V in 8 months. The first one bought in March 07 suffered a catastrophic failure and was replaced today free of charge for a new one.
Ironically until then it did a much better job at drying than my previous Bosch.
Problems do happen so I went for the same model and my only grudge is with Comet for taking a month to sort out the problem.

the drier arrived today it was loaded at six oclock this evening and emptied at 5 mins past ,that was a quick cycle you may say unfortunately not ,the drum turned 3-4 revolutions and gave up.overloaded maybe ,i repeated the process with a fraction of the load and then with a single item alas the same story a few turns then everything grinds to a halt,on reading various reviews it appears there is a common drum allignment fault which leads to items getting caught between the drum and the door seal.is there no quality control on production lines anymore? unfortunately i cannot say anything positive about the product

Advantages: Good price Disadvantages: Faulty from day 1
I purchased this tumble dryer for £150 , it arrived yesterday and I am totally unimpressed.
For a start there was no vent hose with the machine, after phoning the shop I was told I would need to phone the manafacturers and get them to send me one out.
Today I tried the dryer out anyway to make sure everything was working ok. Good job I did, loud screeching.scraping noises from the drum being out of line and rubbing. The half inch or larger gap ... ...and holding onto the clothes which I would think would cause harm to my clothes or be potentially unsafe had I not been there watching it!
I would not recommend this tumble dryer, I wish I had looked online for reviews on it first as I found a few people who had the same problems as I've had. Tomorrow I will be going back to the shop to arrange for it to be taken back and for a full refund, I will be looking elsewhere at different makes. ...

The Indesit Moon is, as far as kitchen appliances go, a thing of beauty. Whilst I know deep down that it is very very wrong to like a washing machine this much, darn it, I just can't help myself!
