Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 / 3.16 GHz *** This is my favorite processor and I love to have this in my one of the PC at home due to its great performance and speed. Some processors are really very affordable and trustable with long run capacity and features to provide similar kind of performance as new one. This processor also a kind of processor which can give us reliable performance with its advanced features and speed. *** Core2 duo family from Intel ...
...create uncomfortable working environment. So Intel has good solution for this problem with controlled data bus speed and 45nm technology for low power consuming processors. *** This processor also has similar kind of technology with its 45 nm technology. The most important features of this processor is its great 3.16 GHz of superfast clock speed and 6 MB of L2 cache size. Point is considerable that 3.26 GHz speed is generally considered as very fast ...

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500, its worth it.

Advantages: Good for avarage pc and gamers, stable if all is updated, silent fan.
Disadvantages: Fan can be to weak if alot of heavy processes are running.

This is the same intel Core 2 Duo i have in my PC at this very moment i'm typing this. And you know why i choose it? Because the difference between the 3.00 and the 3.16GHz was so small i decided to take this one. Why didn't i take the 3.20? Because the extra 0.04 Ghz you got was to expensive if you ask me. I think intel did a really nice job making these processors, and i'm very pleased with mine. It's fast, and very reliable, although i'm thinking ...
...my system, but still i'm not sertain how it will last in the future. Overall, my opinion is that if you do not need a Quad core, but you do want alot of GHz, go for the Intel Core 2 Duo. It's a good price, for alot of GHz. ...

...them. I'm not sure if Intel has done anything about that yet. Overall if your looking for a fast processor, and arn't willing to upgrade to the Core I7 just yet, then this is definetly a processor do look at. PS, I accept no responsibility of anything happening due to overclocking. It can be dangerous so do so at your own risk. Just thought I'd mention :) ...

Great CPU For Price

Advantages: 6 Mb L2 Cache and 1333 Fsb is great
Disadvantages: No Disadvantages found yet.

I did a lot of research and satisfied on this model for many good reasons. I checked a lot of benchmarks from cpubenchmark.net and on toms hardware before buying this processor. I bought this cpu month ago. Its very fast and stable. Core i7 and Quads are far ahead from this cpu on benchmark but they are costly. 6 Mb of cache and 1333 fsb is pretty attractive. Overclocked this beast to 4.00ghz with only 1.31 voltage. Do not overclock this cpu with ...
