Quick review of Iomega ScreenPlay Pro Multimedia Drive 750 GB
The software (firmware) is rubbish and as this is largely all the product is about, so it makes it a bad purchase.
It freezes, or crashes, if you navigate at anything other than a snails pace or when it feels like. The same often happens if you dare to 'fast forward' or move thru scenes, however that may be with all media players, until software improves. It doesn't play certain AVI files, however I am sure this can be overcome, with better codex.
Great idea, so keen to see who has a better media playing hard drive. ...

Advantages: Size 750 Gb Disadvantages: DVD files not read, menu not active, user interface poor, remote control buttons not active
...to find the next file.
The DVD's menus are also not active.
Don;t expect as well any support at all from iomega and so far I can't get anyone in iomega to tell me where to send back this crap product.
Save your money, don;t buy this. ...
