Ipevo FREE-1

If you've already read my review of Skype, then you'll be well aware that I'm not a true zealot. That is not to say I don't acknowledge its usefulness though, and in my day to day life, I use it often enough to warrant a small extravagance to make it that bit more convenient. After trying a few other phones with skype (with little success), I found the Ipevo Free-1. It is at a bargain price, and provides you with great features, such as a list function and an alphabetical search through your skype contacts. I thought it was going to be a lot bigger, but it's not really bigger than a small ruler, and its design is contemporary and stylish. I wanted a voip phone that cleared up the sound on skype - this almost eliminates the echo. Ok, so I wanted to get stuck into the Skype revolution. The intense lure of free phone calls is something that no one should really resist! I chose the IPEVO Free-1 based on the small size, affordable cost and simple aesthetic appeal. As I received the phone through the post from Amazon, I was quite taken aback by the incredibly small size. At 151mm x 38mm x 25mm it could quite possibly be the smallest phone I have ever owned (even comparing to mobile phones). The size is a little on the smaller side of perfect.
