...a fellow Ciao'ers review on JD Sports it inspired me to write my very first review on a shop. There is only one JD's in the entire city of Cambridge, which comes as a disappointment to me, and if it were to come to me to find the closest one besides there I wouldn't really know where to look. Lakeside? Bluewater? I have no idea. Anyway the existence of JD's was pretty unknown to me until just a couple of years back, I don't know where I tended to ... ...I mentioned, only have one JD Sports locally is quite annoying, it's located in the Lions Yard side of Cambridge's shopping area (for those that have been) and is a pretty tiny shop opposite a massive HMV. I've seen pictures of bigger JD's and I think to myself, "Wow, must be great in there, all the clothes." But what do I get? A shoe rack next to the door so only one person can enter or leave at the same time, and a shop that can nowhere near hold ...

JD sports is the main stockist of the latest in sports fashion clothing and footwear. They sell the very latest trainers and football boots of which many brands are designed exclusively to be sold at JD Sports. They are often more fashionable than similar designs found at other sports outlets. The clothing that is stocked at JD, ranges from tracksuit bottoms to polo shirts and hoodies through to shorts. ...of you that don't know, JD is a sports shop that sells designer clothes and trainers. They sell some sports brands, but only the well known and expensive ones. If you are looking for real professional sportswear, I would recommend JJB. JD sells a wide range of products that suit all - Mens, Womens and Juniors. They sell many different types of clothes, but the majority are tracksuits, hoodies and coats. Although JD sell many clothes, they are best ... ...KSwiss, Lacoste and many more. JD is more of a fashion shop than a proper sportswear shop though, and fashion doesnt come cheap. Your average pair of trainers will cost you bang on £54.99. This is a ridiculous price for a pair of trainers, but even I know it, and I still buy. I just cant resist! Believe me, I'm not the only one! Im not quite sure what makes us all want to buy the £55 trainers over the identical pair you can get without the logo for ...

...my son all shop at JD Sports, we find that they do some really good designer clothes for the whole family.
Their smallest size in kiddie clothes starts from 6 months old so to me that's good thing as for people who like designer clothes and footwear can buy for their little ones.
You can apply for a store card, which we never have but the offer is there if you want one.
They sell a range of stuff from Trainers to Jogging bottoms, T-shirts, Shirts, ... ...stuff for the trainers your buying.
They sell all makes/brands e.g Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Kickers, Ellsesse and YSL.
Prices for kiddie clothes that are designer like Nike cost for a T-shirt £5/£7.00, Nike Shorts cost £6 roughly and Nike Jogging bottoms cost £10.00. So buying kiddie designer clothes and footwear is not as expensive as people think, you just have to look around and find bargin's like Footlocker is a shop full of bagain's, so i'd recommend ...

The selection of trainers in the store is almost ridiculous because there are so many. The shop in Wolverhamptons not even that big but the trainers cover every inch of wall space. ...few things straight...
Firstly, JD are currently working hard to shake off the "chav" image. Gone are the days of selling Rockport and ton's of tracksuits! We are going through a re-branding, and refit of the company, to change our image. Take a look at our website, and you will see a new, fresh, stylish look to the company, and I can tell you from seeing the new stores - they look more like River Island than JD!
Secondly, we are NOT a sports store. ... ...comply with the image of JD - they are our customers, and seem to buy more from people of their age!
Final point, refund policy! To put it bluntly, we will do absolutley NOTHING with no receipt, or bank statement. I appreciate this sounds harsh, but there was ALOT of problems, reported in the news, of people exchanging items they had stolen from one branch, for gift vouchers in another. They than used these vouchers as money for drugs. The ONLY ...

i went in jd the other day to try and buy a coat which i thought would be easy but it wasn't i expected to spend about 30 minutes because i like to have a look round aswell so 1hour and ahalf later still no coat and as u can imagin i wasn't very happy. the store that i went into was very big with 2 floors. i have never been lost in a shop before and in that shop i was. fist i couldn't find the coats and when i did they were the only 3 coats which ... ...to find a member of staff which you would think would be easy because it was a big store so there should be lots of staff. but u couldn't be more wrong!!!!
there was no body to help at all so i had to go and wait for some one at the till i asked them and they said that they had no idear which isn't what u expect form a member of staff but she did tell me to go to the till downstairs so did. she showed me where the coats where i went to find them ...

JD Sports will take your money quickly if you let them, and then refuse to offer you any kind of return/service if the shoe is faulty.
Go elsewhere if you require sports clothing, shoes etc.

I always like to shop in this store if I need new trainers, the reason being is that they have a huge stock and the majority of time, regardless what part of the year, they have a sale on. I like nice comfortable trainers, which last long so I don’t mind paying that little longer. As I often find paying brand trainers like Nike do last much longer than just normal ones.
Here they sell a variety of brand names, and trainers to fit all ages, ... ...trainers from here, they were much cheaper here than they were in Allsports. Not only do they sell a wide range of trainers but also jumpers and jackets, but I wouldn’t honestly they have a wide range.
Nevertheless in saying that I did manage to buy a cricket top from this store, which I couldn’t find else where so they did make me happy.
If I were to recommend you this store it would be on the basis of it’s trainer collection, ...

They have really good sales periods, especially during christmas time, where alot of things are half price. They also have this 2 for £20 offer for t-shirts, great if you are going away during the summer holiday and want some new holiday clothing. My friend works at JD Sport so when I go to see her, I often have a look around the shops. Firstly, what is the difference between JJB Sports, they have similar names and similar stocks. I don’t really think this shop is that it always seems to be a season behind. The prices are quite high, although you can find a bargain on last season’s stock. Unlike Allsports they have no points scheme, so there’s no attraction to visit again. ... ...are well organised but that’s about it, really. I wouldn’t recommend this sports store because there are other better ones. However, if you want a good pair of trainers then this is the store. It’s got a huge variety of different brand names and they vary in price. You can if you look get a bargain. I normally use this store to window shop in, just to check what new products they have in that are new. ...

In my opinion JD in Aldershot is crap. They have the image of being a Chav store (no offence to anyone who shops in there, I'm not saying you are one) and so many people feel uncomfortable in the store because a lot of the staff give off the image of being a Chav, having got to know some of them I now know they're not all like that. Recently my Fiance went to work in the Aldershot branch, he wanted a part time job so we could see each other more. ... ...to payday and he didn't get paid, he went to speak to them about it and they said they'd done the paperwork wrong, so he had to wait even longer to get paid and when he finally did they did it in a lump sum so he got taxed around £45! But that's not the only thing...the Manager & Assistant Manager both got suspended for bullying each other and then both left & now they have a Manager that doesn't have a clue and has hired an Assistant Manager who ...

JD Sports is a sports shop but its not like most sports shops like Nike , JJB, Adidas in JD most of the clothes are not like sports clothes there more fashion clothes but they still have alot of sports stuff there. The nearest JD to me is in Chester where there are 2 JD sports there, Most of my clothes i get from JD it is a great shop to buy lots of clothes there they have all the big brands like Fred Perry, Timberland, Henri Lloyd And then they ... ...~~~JD Online~~~
www.JDsports.co.uk is the JD Sports Official website on there you will find all the clothes that are in the JD stores and more! it is also a really good place to buy Trainers if your looking for some trainers i suggest you check it out. On the website they always have a sale on so you can get yourself a bargain. Jd sports first opened in 1981 with one store in Bury and as the years have moved on JD has grew and have made their position today as the leading UK retailer of fashionable sports and casual wear. The wide range of brands they sell at the store are:
Adidas, Admiral, Animal, Asics, Ben Sherman, Boxfresh, Brookhaven, Calvin Klein, ... ...PRO, Vans. Many jd sports stores are clean and well structured so its easy to find your section and the clothing you fall for! Their refund and exchange policy is hassle free and easy as 1.2.3 if you return the item back in its original condition.
Jd's sales seem to be pretty good as i have experienced.... their prices tend to go half price so the item is well worth it as their quality is fab.....
Jd's staff are ok. Some can be useless and bitchy ...
