Disadvantages: no tv output, didn't work on XP as a webcam.

I bought this camera a year ago and used it constantly until it was stolen last july 2003. I loved it for its ease of use, picture quality, full avi audio camcorder function and its dictaphone function. The dial on top of the camera allows manual, automatic photo facility, and then you have video, audio only and playback function. Finally there is a webcam function. Disadvantages: Instructions a little tricky to understand

This is an excellent first digital camera. For a price of under £100 it has all the features of more expensive cameras. I found the instructions a little confusing to get to grips with, but after a little playing, I found it extremely easy to use. It has all the important features of auto and manual pics. 63 second video mode, audio recording, pc cam, and a quality lcd playback screen. Advantages: Light, easy to use, sound with video and excellent value.
Disadvantages: Fixed focus. Sometimes hangs on flash

...Jenoptik. The advantages with Jenoptik are that they are principally an optical company rather than an electrical company so lens quality is important to them. I also use it's big brother the Jenoptik 5200 z3 but I wouldn't be without my 1.3 LCD as it's just a case of point and shoot with the 1.3. ... Read review
