The JML water tank is made of clear plastic, unlike some other brands which have a glass tank. This has to be filled with tap water up to the maximum water level shown. It is then placed on the base with a few drops of the essence (if required), topped off with the lid and connected to the power supply.
The on/off switch is at the back of the base which also contains the LED light display. The switch for this is on the ... ...The others that JML sell are: Rose, Sandalwood and Teatree.
As I said, the water does become rather dirty but apparently doesn't have to be changed until this happens. We have found that the water goes down fairly quickly so it does need topping up regularly. **INITIAL THOUGHTS**
Opening the Fresh Air Globe on Christmas day settled an internal debate for me. Once you hit adulthood, Christmas day really isn't what it used to be. I purchased the JML Fresh Air Globe and am glad I did!
The globe comes with 2 fragrance oils - 1 eucalyptus and 1 lavender which offer both a stimulating or soothing experience. Within the unit there are coloured led lights which change randomly thus creating a relaxing atmosphere when using the appliance in a darkened room.
It is amazing how much dirt the water collects (much better in the water than breathing it in).
The only drawback with this ... ...the JML Fresh Air Globe for about a year now and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Maintenance is exceptionally easy. When the water becomes cloudy simply empty the basin, rinse and refill. The filters are easy to clean too and unclick so you can get access. ...

JML Fresh Air Globe
I bought this when I was ill with a sinus type bug because I had the heating on all the time and the air seemed really dry. All of the other air purifiers were really expensive and this appeared to do much the same as they promised. Yes I should have known better but I was ill at the time…

Unfortunately, these are pretty chemical smelling and unpleasant - not the natural ambience I had been promised. Good Value for money air purifier comes with good essences and good looking design. I say the design was good looking but it is a real fiddle to clean. But really it doesn't need cleaning just emptying and refilling each day. It provides a nice smell when you walk into the room however you get used to it after a while, It is good if you have kids because they like the modern look of it and its cool light show you can change the colours to stop on ... ...also good for teens who have smelly sports kits because it doesn't mask the Oder it gets rid of it. And you can see at the end of the day the water is a kind of grey-ish colour because of it catching the dust and/or smoke if you smoke. Quite a loud fan though. ...

We have been using the Fresh Air Globe now for just 2 days. Already there is a notable difference. My girlfriend is allergic to our cats, and uses an inhaler. Since we started the Globe running she has not needed to use her inhaler anywhere near as often. She also sleeps through the night without waking to need to use the inhaler. I am very happy with the product myself, As I have house cats, and as much as I do stay on top of keeping the cats clean, ...

Once upon a time there were ionisers. They pump negative ions into your room, which is normally full of too many positive ions. Positive ions make the air heavy and impure, while negative ions make it light and fresh. The trouble was, that when the positive ions were driven out by the negative, they came to rest around your ioniser in a black heavy sludge, that was unsightly and difficult to clean.
Then, Eureka! The fresh air globe, which is basically ... ...sludge falls out of the air it falls ino the water and you do not see it.
The fresh air globe does everything it says on the box. It purifies and humidifies the air and gets rid of smells. But it is not designed for humans to use. It comes in three bits with fiddly little wires, meaning it is difficult to move around the room. The globe part is a flimsy plastic bowl I am always sending flying. It won't last long and there is no mention of replacements.
