    Advantages Advantages Low powered, nice look, easy to use, choice of LED colour displays, can take oil scents, it works!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages LED function has a strobe setting, water runs out quickly in odourous rooms. Tricky fan access.

    When I first lived away from home and out of Scotland, I eventually left halls of residence with an opportunity to move into a flat with friends. I had to share a flat with four others in what could be described as a property which never really had a loving family to take care of it; the bedrooms were large which is probably why I plucked for a room but the living areas on a communal level were best kept as best as students could cope with - a lack of ventilation, the need for many table fans and the worst aspect of all - the all fitted tacky 1970's kitchen with a lousy cooker hood to cope ... more

    Advantages Advantages Really freshens the air nicely, lovely fragrances, nice colours for ambience.

    Fresh Air Globe I bought one of these when i was at university living in a house that had a bit of damp and was quite cold like many uni houses. This really made a world of difference and made you feel like you're breathing in fresh air and gives the room a lovely ambiance. The Product This is a lovely air globe that has lots of lovely features.     Advantages Advantages Attractive and can be used for aromatherapy

    This was an item of which I was unaware - until it appeared amongst the Christmas presents. I had seen others similar but not this particular one. I have to say that it was probably something I would not have bought myself but I was quite pleased to receive it as a gift. The Fresh Air Globe has three main parts: the water tank, the base and the lid - which also houses the motor. The unit is powered by electricity for which the cable and mains adapter are, of course, included along with the easy to follow instructions and two small bottles of essences - Eucalyptus and Lavender.     JML Fresh Air Globe- Dehumidifying, Air Freshening, Light Show Providing, Working Reasonably Well, Slightly Noisy, Spaceship Looking thing. **INITIAL THOUGHTS** Opening the Fresh Air Globe on Christmas day settled an internal debate for me. Once you hit adulthood, Christmas day really isn't what it used to be.     Advantages Advantages 'washes' the air, humidifies and looks pretty

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not the best at fragrancing the air, many other versions available (many cheaper)

    I used to have 2-3 plug-in air freshners around the house and after various warnings regarding people's houses burning down because of them (scaremongery no doubt!) and the constant high price of buying refills I decided to look for an alternative product to provide a continuous fragrance at home. My mother-in-law is a big fan of shopping channels and she mentioned the Goodsphere Revitaliser.     This is an interesting little product and one I hoped would be a bit more environmentally friendly than other air freshsners you can buy. I don't ever buy the ones that you can plug in anymore because I have heard that they can start fires by shorting out and even though I do buy some sprays I don't always like the mist that they put in the air as this causes my asthma to kick off so I thought this globe from JML would be a nice alternative.     JML Fresh Air Globe I bought this when I was ill with a sinus type bug because I had the heating on all the time and the air seemed really dry. All of the other air purifiers were really expensive and this appeared to do much the same as they promised.     Advantages Advantages Definitely does help to freshen the air drawing in impurities

    I purchased the JML Fresh Air Globe and am glad I did! The globe comes with 2 fragrance oils - 1 eucalyptus and 1 lavender which offer both a stimulating or soothing experience. Within the unit there are coloured led lights which change randomly thus creating a relaxing atmosphere when using the appliance in a darkened room. It is amazing how much dirt the water collects (much better in the water than breathing it in). The only drawback with this appliance is that replacement oils are a bit pricey at £9.99.     I am not too sure how much we paid for this but we bought it from JML direct a little while ago. As we have animals in our hosue we wanted something that not only would make the air smell nice and fresh and clean but also something which would actually look good and modern and stylish at the same time. We bought this thinking it would live up to all of those wants - an it did! It looks lovely as we have two - one in the basement and one in the dining room area near to the patio windows where the dog has his basket.     The idea is that by swirling water around (or something more scientific but swirling is what it looks like), particles will be filtered out of the air and deposited in the water bowl leaving you with cleaner, fresher air. It claims to remove pet odours, harmful bacteria and neutralise other odours. The unit comes in three parts - the base with light & power switch, the water globe and the lid. There is a vent on the lid of the globe from which the air (and I assume the water particles) are emitted.
