I had seen the advert on the telly and was initially horrified at the thought of using what looked like a cheese grater on my feet but then I saw an Extreme Makeover program where somebody actually used a electric sander on her feet cos of her hard skin and I thought if I didn't do something about my feet soon I would be having to pinch my Dad's sander. I can just imagine the conversation
"Dad can I borrow your sander?"

Anyway I was intrigued by the Ped Egg and asked for one for Christmas. Christmas morning arrived and I was delighted to get one. ...I saw the JML Ped Egg for sale in T J Hughes for nine pounds and 99 pence. Having recently seen it on Ideal World, on the television, I thought this sounded a good price and it seemed a good product to buy. I walk just about everywhere and, at times, I have had foot problems. In fact sometimes my feet resemble rough sandpaper rather than a woman's feet.

...Ped Egg is manufactured by JML and can also been found for sale on the television like all of the JML product ranges. The Ped Egg is described by the manufacturer as "a revolutionary foot file that is precision engineered with over 135 stainless steel micro fibres. It gently removes calluses and dead skin to give your feet the incredible baby soft look and feel everybody loves." The stainless steel micro fibres to me basically look like a cheese ... ...does not hurt though or is not rough on your skin. If anything, it tickles just a little bit but it does take away the skin without any pain. The file itself is housed in an egg shape plastic shell. The file fits in one side which you can then place in your hand to help you to move the file over your feet. It is shaped like an egg because apparently it is ergonomically designed to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand for easy and convenient use. ...

first discovered this product on a US forum and instantly thought it sounded like a great idea- in essence a cheesegrater for your feet! Ok I know that sounds a little disgusting but that is it in a nutshell! I bought this for £7 off ebay and I reckon that is an okay price to pay for what is a hell of a lot better than your average pumic stone. It does initally look a little like an egg but once you open it up you will see the foot grater half and ... ...find that the best time to grate my feet is after a bath when the skin is at its softest and is easiest to remove. Now I have heard some people say that this can draw blood but I have never managed to do that yet so I reckon you must have to be grating your feet pretty dam hard to achieve that! One other word of warning and now this is slightly icky but all the dead skin you grate off does collect in the egg and sometimes over whereever you are doing ...

I have hideously dry feet, I have tried absolutely everything to get rid of my dead skin but I find that nothing really seems to work. I would absolutely love to get a professional pedicure but I'm too embarrassed to walk into a salon and show my tootsies to the perfectly groomed women in there! I first read an article on the Ped Egg in a magazine a few months back which seemed to sing its praises, and decided I would give it a go. I didn't see any ... ...shopping in town there was a market seller peddling these for £3.99. I excitedly handed over my cash and toddled off home as quick as my trotters would take me. The Ped Egg is designed to use on hard skin found on feet. It has a good erganomic design - being egg shaped its easy and comfortable to hold. It looks similar to a cheese grater and when held correctly collects shaving of skin from your feet.
Aside from having a desire to inspect, smell, collect or attempt to sell these shavings on ebay, you are supposed to be able to hygenically carry them according to the instructions, to a bin where you should ... ...egg after each use and that as a personal product it should only be used by one person.
My Partner has unbelievably calloused feet owed to wearing work books 6 days a week. We saw the Ped Egg advertised on TV and on our next shopping trip we purchased the product. I, like most of the women in my family, have really (yes they really ARE that bad) awful feet! I know that its not at all lady like but I have in the past spent many a night with a scalpel, moisturing cream and cotton socks trying to do something with them, to no avail! I suffer dreadfully with hard, dead skin and calluses.
I was watching TV the other day and I saw an advert for "ped egg". It claims to simply file away the dead skin, catch the "scrapings" ... ...Well it sounded great and for a rrp of £9.99 it sounded like good value. I vowed next time I was in Asda that I would pick one up and try it.

It wasn't something I intended on buying, I walked by it in the supermarket and thought it was worth a try.
And I think it is fabulous, well worth £9.
Of the many products I have used to rid me of my dry skin, none have been as successful, quick and easy to use as the Ped Egg.
Not only does it get rid of all the dead skin but it contains it inside for less mess.
You also get 2 pummices with it to keep the feet soft after treatment.

JML no longer need to advertise this product, as I'm telling everyone about it! I have struggled with removing hard skin from my heels and the balls of my feet for years; the only real success to be had was by visiting the chiropodist.
