Advantages Advantages Great looking camera, amazing zoom, amazing footage

Disadvantages Disadvantages No instruction manuel, very expensive and maybe not worth the money

How many of you have done something called Impulse Buying before? Well that’s what I did with this camera. I am a Media Student at the moment at college and am currently creating a 10 minute Promotional Video for my college, and I will be going onto University in September of this year to become… a media student, which again means spending more time behind the camera. In my eyes at the time, this meant that I NEEDED a camcorder, and of course when I saw this almost pink colour (it’s called Red but is more Purple/Pink in my eyes) camcorder I knew I had to have it. I had just got my bonus and ... more

Advantages Advantages Light weight, easy-to-use interface, low price, good picture quality

Disadvantages Disadvantages Short battery life, not very compatible with Mac, bundled software is substandard

This is my first camcorder, and on the whole, I'm relatively pleased with my purchase. It's light weight, it's easy-to-use, it has some decent features for it's price, and an integrated hard drive means there's no need to worry about SD cards or playing the entire film back on the camcorder whilst transferring the files to the computer. Tech specs * 30GB integrated hard drive, with MicroSD slot to increase recording capacity should you run out. * 4 recording modes, from the battery-saving economy mode to the ultra fine mode for highest quality. * Between 7 and 37 hours of recording time on the ... more

Advantages Advantages Huge drive capacity, good quality images, ease of use and transfer of images

Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery included only lasts for max. 2hrs

I brought this camcorder in June 2008. The camcorder itself is very easy to use and comes with all of the necessary leads to connect it to your television or your computer via USB. The battery that is included is very slim and fits nicely on the unit but the life of the battery can be very limited if you leave the unit on standby rather than turning it off. This is because the unit has a quick start feature which is excellent if you don't want to miss anything but can drain down the battery. On average, the battery lasts for about 2hrs of continous filming or playback. I would recommend that ... more

Advantages Advantages Small, superb quality, good capacity, easy to use, image stabalizer.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Still images poor, no night vision

I have to say I love this little beast! My wife and I bought one to take on our dream honeymoon. We used it for a variety of different shots and with the thought of kids in mind in the future. We were mainly out in a boat on some pretty choppy ocean in the Maldives so the camera was moving up and down a lot. The camera has a an excellent image stabalizer and this was very useful for taking shots at sea. The camera itself is compact, excellent battery life and very good replay quality. The still images are poor quality so you would need to keep your Digital camera. It also has a massive ... more

Advantages Advantages compact, inexspensive, easy to use

Disadvantages Disadvantages poor in bad light

I saw this camcorder, and immediately wanted it, regardless of its performance. Its very compact and looks great, in red. After buying it I found it easy to use, and quite straight forward. This I found quite refreshing in todays technological complicated world. The touch screen format adds to its ease of use, and is a flashy extra. When I purchased the camcorder there was a good cheque back offer of £50 available on it which made it even better value. The cheque arrived two weeks after I applied for it. In my opinion it has all the latest facilities available for the average user. However it ... more

Advantages Advantages Great battery life, good quality.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Screen could be bigger.

I think this a truly brilliant camcorder. well worth buying!! i bought it last year and it has served me very well, battery is great, and so is the screen! The battery will last for around 5 hours when fully charged which can be great, especially for filming sporting events such as rallying which is what i use it for regularly! I have also purchased a car charger for it which can be really helpful if you are travelling around like on holiday etc. It is a great gadget to have, but i love gadgets to be totally honest! I have it in a gun metal silver ish colour, not the purple colour shown in the ... more
