JVC Everio GZ-MG575. A must have!

Advantages: Too many!
Disadvantages: None

...with its performance. I love JVC for producing such a wonderful camcorder. ******************************************************* Dimensions: >Width: 7.4 cm >Depth: 11.8 cm >Height: 7.2 cm >Weight (Without battery): 425 g >Weight (With Battery): 470 g Very compact and light weight. The one I have got is black in colour. It looks very pretty. ******************************************************* Features: >Optical Sensor Type: ...
...up to 10 x with JVC Everio GZ-MG575 Camcorder. This zoom is more than enough for me. >Digital Zoom: 300 x If you will zoom to a high level you will surely compromise on image quality. 300 x is too much of zooming, still it is good to have! >Electronic Image Stabilizer When you zoom to an extent that the image gets blurry, image stabilizer comes to the rescue and tries to sharpen zoom images, by attenuating the level of shaking movement. >Shooting ...

Quick review of JVC Everio GZ-MG575

Absolutley excellent camera, so easy to use and the added advantage of a 30Gb hard disk, so no looking around the house for an empty dvd or tape. One thing i would say is don't use the supplied software as i thought it was too complicated to produce your dvd. I would suggest outputting your film using software such as Nero recode. ...

Quick review of JVC Everio GZ-MG575

I think that calling the end result DVD Quality is stretching the facts. I found the packaged software to be pretty ordinary and will not run on my HP Multimedia computer with XP, but does work on my Toshiba laptop running XP. ...

MG575 my first camcorder

Advantages: Features, picture quality, ease of use, value for money
Disadvantages: Short standard battery time

Although I am no expert I have just bought the GZ-MG575 as my first video camera. I searched on the web for the lowest price and took the plunge. However the saying " you get what you pay for " rung true when the camera arrived with the instruction manual in every language execpt english. This has proved very difficult to get hold of so I am teaching myself how to use it. The camera has proved to be very easy to use and I have been delighted with ...
...mode and photo mode is outstanding and the camera is small and light enough to take anywhere. A useful feature I find is the built in lens cap, no more losing it or fixing it to the camera body with a bit of string ! I have installed a 1GB SD card to store my photo's on and find the 40GB hard drive ample for my movies, however the only limiting factor is the supplied standard battery which can run down quite fast. This can be solved by purchasing ...

JVC Everio GZ-MG575

Advantages: Good compact daylight video camera
Disadvantages: Limitation for night shoot

I bought JVC GZ MG575 for my trip to Germany & Italy, as a replacement to my old & bulky Sony Handycam which still using 8 mm film. From the result, I fount that this JVC produce good color for both video & still picture compare to Sony, but not too good at night time shooting & picture, due to slow lens (apperture 3.5). Not advisable for night shot picture as its slowest shutter speed is just 0.5 sec, so I have to use my Olympus Mju 810 camera ...
...movie to DVD using the software came with the camera and the result is quite good, compare to the original, the DVD result is having the same quality. This is much better compare to the film based video camera, which will loose some quality when you transfer the movie to DVD. For standard printing (postcard size),the daylight picture taken by this video camera is good and comparable to my Olympus Mju 810 camera, but have not tried for a bigger printout. ...
