Advantages: Cheap, reasonable video quality, easy to use Disadvantages: Far too youtube orientated.
I recently purchased this camcorder for my upcoming holiday to the Lake District. Said holiday is looking to be a very bad choice if this weather continues. Maybe I should have forgotten about the whole adventure holiday in Britain thing and gone somewhere warm. Oh well, guess I've made my bed...anyway, on to the camcorder.

The camcorder is reasonably good looking, nothing strikes you as wow about it, but nothing makes you ... ...making it easy to hold and use. The only thing I disliked about it was, as seems to be more frequent with camcorders, the god damn YouTube sticker on the side (wow, YouTube appears in my spell checker) I look at this camera and think; 'I want to record my holiday, I do not want to be a frigging (refrains from swearing) walking YouTube advert'.
== Function ==
The camcorder is child's play to use, nothing overly complication in terms of menus etc. ...

Advantages: Good Video Recording Quality, Stylish design and Menu Disadvantages: Still image quality is poor, Menu hard to navigate for some people
The JVC GZ-MS100 Camera is a very good Camera in the Video department, but lacking when it comes to taking still images. At first glance the Camera looks stylish and slick, with the wrist strap attached holding the camera is easy and feels great. The slim design means you can easilly hold the camera whilst recording or carrying. The Recording button is found at the back of the camera, along with the main battery and the DC Power socket which can ... ...camera features the still image button, which can be used when the Still image mode is on, and the Zoom slider which is easy to use but could have been a little bigger. The main controls are hidden behind the screen. When you open up the screen on the side there is a series of buttons on the camera itself, a slide which switches between video and still image mode, Info button which shows how much memory is left on the SD card, as well as battery ...

As my experience,this fantastic digital camera delivers excellent performance in a compact package. Regarding the picture quality, the camera does a decent job.
