Sound Quality I first bought this brand of headphones, because I was sick of the rubbish sound quality of headphones my dad constantly got me from the pound shop... I thought, spend a little more and get a half decent pair. I was not dissapointed! These headphones produce clear perfectly balanced sounds, which allows music to be heard as it was meant to be heard! Sound quality is a big issue for me, and after I bought these, until recently, I would not buy any others. I have had three pairs of these purely because of the brilliant sound quality. Comfort These headphones are fairly comfortable ... more

=JVC Gumy earphones= My original earphones that came with my mp3 player had broken and I liked the ear bud style, so off to the trusty Argos website for a replacement pair. =Colours= I was surprised that there were so many colours available, as I was just expecting general white or black ones, but was pleasantly surprised to see the pink, blue, violet as well as white and black styles. I thought that this was a good idea, as you can match the replacement headphones to your mp3 player or iPod. =Quality= I paid around £4 for these as they were on a sale leaflet, but have checked and they are ... more

Advantages Advantages Great sound quality, durable, well-made, unbelievable price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I'm always breaking earphones and in the end, i gave up buying expensive ones. In sainsbury's, I noticed these JVC gummy earphones (in black) for the almost 'too good to be true' price of £5!!! I took a chance because I trust JVC when purchasing electrical goods but I wasn't expecting BOSE quality audio. However, from the moment I plugged them into my iPod, I was pleasantly surprised. They are comfortable in the ear, with a rubberised casing around the speaker part. They do not, however, have the 'in ear' marshmellowy parts that go inside the ear. I did not mind the absence of such parts, as ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Haven't found any yet.

Product Name: JVC HAF130 In Ear Gumy Headphones To get a so called decent pair of earphones these days now will cost you about £15 upwards which is expensive for something so small and all relatively the same technology wise. I use my iPod on a daily basis and within the past year i would say I've been through at least 10 pairs of earphones. Three of which were Apple Headphones so called quality products. These earphones are different, first of all for the price. I bought these from ASDA for a acceptable £7 and they meet the same standards and are better in some areas than all of my previous ... more

a good thing about ipod earphones is that they look good, however they dont really last that long. iv owned 2 ipods in my life and my earphones have lasted me no longer than 3 months. so the next thing to think about was, what earphones do i get now? well i wanted somthing that looked cool, that wasnt too dear and that were actually good sound quality too. i was going to buy a new pair of ipod earphones but i didnt because they cost £25 for earphones that break in 3 months. so i was advised by a friend to try out these gummys. i marched down to hmv and purchased these for only £7. the thing i ... more

These headphones are really good and versitle. there flexable and look good ... better than cheap ones ! the quality is good and so is the length of wire given and supplied . the downside of the head phones is the wire splits very easily and once it starts to split it carrys on splitting until youre left with to ends of wire connecting to your mp3 player or other media that youre connected to. i had mine for around 2 years and they have served me well , the got wet. still worked after wards and ive played my new stero player on full blast and they didnt break or blow up near my ear ! owch if ... more

5 Stars Quick review of JVC Gummy by Musikker 13/04/2008
I've had numerous headphones. Standard ipod ones, in ear ones etc... These sound excellent, look cool and are extremely durable. They've even been through the wash a couple of times and they sound even cleaner (no pun intended =D ) They go reallly loud as well. Should last years. Last but not least, cheap as tesco value chips XD
