I was given these headphones as a gift a while back as I always complained about my ears being cold yet hating earmuffs because they hurt my ears after a while. My brother thought that these big fat cozy headphones would do the job and indeed they DO! I once thought they would be my winter headphones and revert back to those little "in the ear" jobs in summer...oh, but they are so comfy I wear them all year round. Good points first: They fold up ... ...a bag. The ear part forms a nice seal around the ear and ambient noise isn't high. However, if you live next to a jackhammer, the noise reduction function works well, watch out not to get runover by cars like I nearly do though... Cord length is adequate enough. A very useful bit is the adjustable slidy bits on the side make these heaphones fit on even the most awkward shaped heads...Sometimes in winter I wear a big hat and they fit right over! Sound ...
