I bought this LCD TV from Currys.co.uk 2 years ago for about £350-£370 and it was delivered to my door via a courier service. It was originally bought for my bedroom, but has moved into my lounge as I bought my own house. The equipment I use with this TV is;
-Panasonic SC-HT 990 DVD Home Cinema System
-Sony Playstation 2
-Dell Inspiron laptop
I have NOT used the TV with any HD sources, so i cannot comment on it's performance with any such device. ... ...a sturdy cardboard box with plenty of polystyrene segments to hold it in place, these segments protected the TV against the impact it had recieved at somepoint in the transit of the TV to my house, as one corner of the box was badly damaged and pushed in, yet the TV itself was in full working order with no aesthetic defects from this impact.
STYLING
The TV comes in the fairly standard silver used by most electronics, so will compliment most DVD ...

Advantages: Brilliant Picture , sensitive tuner Disadvantages: No Off switch, always on standby ( but only uses 3W)
...to my review of the JVC LT-20DA6. The reason is simple - The TVs are very similar, the DA7 being the "updated" version of the DA6, although many retailers are still selling the DA6. Some web sites claim features for the DA7 above those for the DA6, eg HD ready, Sub woofer out, or simulated surround sound. In fact neither is HD ready and the DA6 had the others. I have looked at the specification in some detail and so far as I can see there is absolutely ... ...DA7 runs at 24 Volts. JVC say that this has reduced maximum power consumption from 80 watts to 60 watts. I guess the 12V issue is of no relevance to anyone - except caravan or boat dwellers who can run it direct at 12V DC. However the reduction in power consumption is a good step - reduced cost and greener too.
