Advantages: Compact, Larger than expected screen resolution, Stylish, Light, has USB2.0 capability
Disadvantages: Sluggish graphics, no internal CD drive.
...the better designs out there. JVC actually do a pretty good job of getting the design right, it's a functional machine, while still being light enough to hold in one hand, and type on it using the other.
When the device is opened out, we've got an 8.9" screen, which looks best running at its native resolution of 1024 by 800 pixels (the picture seems to look a lot worse running at a resolution other than this). Needless to say, the picture is clear ...
