I have been a fan of the Harry Potter books for many years. I bought the first one, ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’, for my ten year-old daughter when it first came out, but for reasons unknown she wouldn’t read it. For three months, the Harry Potter audio books, as read by Stephen Fry (who is due a knighthood, in my eyes) took over my life. I listened to nothing else. At any opportunity, my earphones would be in, and i'd be away, either in Hogwarts or in number 12 Grimmauld Place. From the moment I heard the first words of The Philosophers Stone, to the last from The Deathly Hallows, I was truly immersed.
