Advantages Tastes great, great with mixers.
Disadvantages aquired taste, on the strong side if you have to much! cost.

About Jagermeister - Jagermeister, pronounced with a soft J at the start is a spirit liqueur. It is Made in Wolfenbuttel, Germany and is a 35% volume herb Liqueur made from alcohol, beet and cane sugar and a variety of herbs and spices. You cant get any more information on the exact ingredients as it is a closely guarded secret! It is produced by the company Mast - Jagermeister AG and was established in 1878 although it wasn't brought onto the market until 1935. Advantages Herbal,.
Disadvantages Hangovers.

My Husband first started drinking Jagermeister on nights out in town; he would have a Jager and Red Bull to boost his energy. I first tried Jagermeister a couple of months ago, despite regularly having a bottle in the house; I can't say I was all that impressed. Jagermeister is an herbal liqueur; it is supposed to be enjoyed as a digestif (after a meal to aid digestion) and a cough remedy. Not walloped down the neck in great quantities on a night out. Advantages unusual, easy to drink
Disadvantages easy to drink

I always asociate Jagermeister with snowboarding and have consumed a fair amount. It is drunk as a shot or with a mixer. ----The Brand---- Jagermeister is a german drink and the name means 'hunt master' in german. To me it is synonamous with snowboarding and is heavily available in european ski resorts. I find they also sponsor a lot of heavy metal concerts, including having a stage at Sonisphere festival under their name. Jagermeister is an alcoholic drink available in 70cl bottles and is 30% alcohol. The bottle is green with a distinctive orange label sporting a stags head, which I think is a little unattractive. Jagermeister is classed as a liqueur and has been produced in Germany since around 1935. Made from a mixture of herbs Jeigermeiser is said to originally have been sold fro medicinal purposes similar to tonic wine. My first and last experience of Jagermeister was at party last year. I was introduced to Jägermeister whilst working in a ski resort for 5 months. At first I could not stand the stuff. People were downing shots of it as if it was water but to be it just smelt and tasted like cough medicine. Now when this is the cheapest drink you can get in Austria to get you really merry and enjoy that Aprés ski then you're going to have to learn to love it. The easiest way to do this is to drink it in the form of a Jägerbomb. This consists of a small tumbler being filled 1cm high with Redbull (or equivalent) and then a shot glass, or a mini shot bottle of Jäger being placed ... more

Advantages very morish. has a great taste when drank with mixer.
Disadvantages not cheap, very strong when drank neat.

jagermeister is ggggggggggrrrrrreat! it is a herbal liquer from germany, you can drink it as a shot or you can drink with red bull or similar energy drink and suddenly it tastes like cola bottles, sweet and very morish. in my opinion this is a drink that everyone you should try at least once. it does take a hardcore drinker to have it as a shot on it's own. this drink is better than any alcopop i have ever had, it's not the cheapest but it's the best as far as i'm concerned. a bottle costs between £10.00 - £20.00 depending on where you get it. if you drink it in the pubs it's no more expensive ... more

Jagermiester seems to have a bold taste to it. It is a great social drink. It taste good with a chaser to etc. dr.pepper coke.... Any type of dark soda. Some it taste like licorice or cough syrup. But me personally I like the bold taste. It is a.great drink for parties or jyst a random get together. I tried it one time with a lemon lime soda, just experimenting and it tasted aweful. I stick to either straight or with dr.pepper. If you are a.first time Jagarmiester drinker I suggest using a chaser or it might just turn you off of it. You could also try chasing it with a tangy energy drink. But ... more
