Advantages: Weapons, New transport, Daxter Disadvantages: Sometimes difficult and annoying
After the amazing success of Jak and Daxter: The precursor Legacy which sold out of all copies within 3 months 'Naughty Dog' finally popped out the second, darker instalment titled Jak II.
As soon as you have the game on you sense a whole new edge to it. Its storyline starts of a lot darker (and continues) to what it originally was in Jak and Daxter, Long gone is the light hearted mute Jak and in his place is an almost evil looking, older version…WHO ... ...of new things not including Jak finding the miracle of speech. For example, you have more modes of transport this time. If you can't be bothered to walk, just steal a hover car or jump on your hover board. And then there's the weapon. Jak is way past just fists. Now its scatter guns and automatics all the way. Then there is the added bonus of being able to play as Daxter at a few points during the game which is surprising fun. This review will go ...

Advantages: Dark Jak, great lifespan Disadvantages: Some missions can get repetitive
Jak II is the second game in the Jak & Daxter series. As Jak & Daxter was a huge hit Jak II was created and had high expectations.
You are Jak and with the help of Daxter your little ally you have to defeat metal heads before they destroy the world. This time Jak has got dark ego inside him and is evil but is also not evil and on the light side.
Gameplay is the same as Jak & Daxter. Roaming around Haven City with nothing on your mind can be fun ... ...for a game like this. Jak now talks unlike in Jak & Daxter making the sound all good aswell.
I found as i progressed my way through this facinating game that soem missions become a bit repetitive. The missions are the same sometimes and can be a little bore. But the storyline is still as good as ever and will have you tapping away on the controller for days and days.
Finally as you shoudl know by reading my review on Jak II so far is that Jak now ...

Jak II is the second installment in the Jak & Daxter series. You are Jak and and with the aid of your trusted side-kick, daxtor, you must defeat the tyrannical ruler Baron Praxis and free the fearful resistence of Haven City from his dictatorial rule. ...full of dark eco. Now jak is back and he's going to get even!
Graphics- (9/10) Amazing graphics especially for its time, even now the graphics are hard to beat.
Gameplay- (10/10) The world in jak 2 is vast and you will find yourself exploring every single part of it. The streets of Haven City are populated by ambling townspeople, steady traffic from hovercars, and the Baron's jackbooted army, the krimzon guard and much, much more. The game is very ... ...Value- (9/10)This game took me 20-25 hours to complete and there are also extras for replay value.

Advantages: Addictive gameplay, Loads to do Disadvantages: None really
Having played the original Jak & Daxter and enjoyed thoroughly, I purchased JAK II Renegade !!. Well, this is more EXPLOSIVE. In my opinion it is a fab platformer with loads to do.
It got my hooked ! JAK is back and out to seek revenge. He drives, shoots, searches, smashes, grabs his way through 65 missions in Haven City. He can jet board, race in high speed air racing arenas, swim and more. You encounter lots of different characters, mainly enemies, ... ...Otherwise very playable.
The graphics are fab and I would recommend this fast paced platformer to anybody who loves platform games. MUCH BETTER than Jak and Daxter one Lets hope there will be a JAK III
Where children are concerned I would recommend 8 years up. ...

In the game, you play as Jak and sometimes Daxter. In this game, Jak has grown up and has been transported to Haven City. In Haven City, you have to perform many tasks which are very enjoyable. The game takes you around a huge map of places which is enjoyable to see.
