...other weighted fabrics and the Janome J3-18 handles all very compentently. It doesn't struggle and sews with ease and perfect stitching (pending on the user!!). I have also found the machine really easy in terms of changing the feet - it's very simple to change from standard to zipper foot, to button hole foot. It is also really easy to change a needle or alter the position of the zipper foot, as the machine supplies its own mini screw-driver. Another ... ...I would definitely recommend the Janome J3-18 to anyone looking to buy their first sewing machine, or anyone looking to get back into sewing. I am improving in my ability all the time but I won't be changing my machine for a long time - it's got everything I need! ...
