...I picked a copy of Jarka Ruus up from a second hand book stall while I was away from home on business. 10 pages in and I was hooked. I havent read the Isle Witch trilogy but its a testimony to how good this book was that I went and bought a copy when I got home. This book continues the story of the Isle Witch. 20 years after the Voyage of the Jerle Shannara this book introduces us to more of the Ohmsford family. The magic powers appear to have been diluted over the years and it takes several of the characters to 'learn' how to use or find their powers during the story.
