...out in 2005, launched by Jean Gaultier. The features notes are ambergris, musk and vanilla. It is marketed as unisex but I personally think it's more on the feminine side, although not as feminine as the Jean Paul Gaultier Classique.
The other main feature of this fragrance is the linear nature of scent - it doesn't have the traditional top, middle and base notes. The smell is the same throughout except the few minutes in the beginning when it sets ... ...with some fruity floral scent. The mixture is musky and sweet at the same time. The amber and musk in the beginning is quite intense (I think) but got smoothed out by the vanilla after a while. The finish is kind of creamy / velvety just as what one would expect from Vanilla. My friend commented that it can give a powdery finish on her skin but I don't feel much this way when I wear it. I guess it depends on individuals and how the fragrance works ...

I love this fragrance. It is a unisex frangrance and therefore for men and women, but I think it is more suitable for women. It has a musky smell, that lingers all day.
Scent is a very personal thing and smells different on everyone. So I would recommend that you go to a shop to try it, but from my own experience if you like musk, then you will love this perfume.
I would say the cost is average for a good perfume (around £40).
I personally use ... ...day and also if I am going out in the evening. It is suitable for both.
The bottles have a magnetic bit on them, which as far as I am concerned serves no useful purpose. I brought a set of two once and they were stuck together. But I never left them together after that and never used the magnetic option on anything else.
Summary: All time favourite perfume. ...
