I had come across Jefferies Farm Car Supermarket on their website JFTC.co.uk about a year ago. I was very struck by their prices and the wide choice of cars. I was particularly interested in a Ford Focus that they had, so after phoning, I travelled the 100 miles by train from Dorset to take a look.
Someone from Jefferies Farm Car Supermarket had arranged to meet me at the train station, and he had a very pleasant manner. Overall, I was very impressed by their non-pressurised approach to selling cars. They have a very large selection of cars in a massive 600 car, indoor showroom and many more outside on the forecourt, which are arranged in order of type and size. When I went in, I was given a price list and voucher for a free cup of tea, and was allowed to walk around the cars on my own, and to sit in any I chose, as all the cars are left unlocked. I was very impressed by the overall condition of the cars and the good range in prices. There is a strict no-haggling policy as the prices are very competitive and fixed. I felt very relaxed there and was impressed by the friendly, helpful salesmen.
I visited Jefferies Farm Car Supermarket on two more occasions, and finally decided on a blue, 2004 Ford Focus TDCI, after test-driving it.
I decided to take the car to a local Ford dealer to have the car checked over, just for my own peace of mind and to have any manufacturers recall or warranty work carried out. They informed me that the car was in tip top condition and were very surprised when I told them how little I had paid, almost £2000 less than the same car on their forecourt.
Well done Jefferies!!!!!
