5 Stars Jelly Smelling Good! Review with images 08/06/2012

Advantages Advantages Yummy Smelling Air Freshener for your Car!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None for me!

I like to have an air freshener in my car, not because it smells bad but purely because I like to have different scents in there when I open the door. Since I started driving many years ago I've had and bought many many many different air fresheners, for my car, for friends car's when they've had new ones and a lot for my ex-boyfriends car - but that's a whole other story. Jelly Belly Yes that's right it's the makers of the amazing tasting jelly beans - they make air fresheners, in two different sorts. They make the spray that you spray in your car to make it smell good, and the traditional ... more

Advantages Advantages Strong scent, smells nice, affordable

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Slightly fake smell

I love Jelly Belly's range of body sprays and candles as the scents are mouth watteringly gorgeous, so when I saw the Jelly Belly air freshener on Amazon around three weeks ago I decided to buy it for my boyfriend's car to replace the one that we'd had in there for absolutely ages as it had lost its scent so was pointless. I purchased mine from Amazon purely because I had some voucher money to use up. It can also be purchased directly from the official Jelly Belly website as well as a number of supermarkets. Prices range from £3 to around £5 per air freshener depending on where you purchase it ... more

Advantages Advantages smells great, really fruity and fills my car with a long lasting luxurious scent

Disadvantages Disadvantages ish they could be cheaper!

My car is always bombarded with daily use and can sometimes be subjected to all kinds of smells! We sometimes eat in the car from a McDonalds drive thru as a treat, and all kinds of smells may waft about from daughter's stinky poops (not mine of course!) to my spare shoes I always leave under the seat. So I always take it to a car wash for a thorough internal and external clean and they usually give me a complimentary air freshener tree which never last long, so last week when I was in Asda they had these jelly bean air fresheners for £3 (I actually thought it was £2 and realised it was ... more

I love jelly beans and think they taste delicious. Therefore when I saw this product at Selfridges I couldn’t resist buying one. The trouble was deciding which one! I had the choice between cherry, blueberry and pear however I’ve noticed a couple of other ones to choose from online. To help you decide which one you want, there is a little scratch and sniff panel on the front of the packaging! *Price and availability* I paid £4.99 from Selfridges in Manchester. They are widely available online and priced between £3.00 and £4.99. You only get one in the pack though so they are quite expensive ... more

Advantages Advantages Strong scent, looks good

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I first came across these Jelly Belly air fresheners for the car about 3 years ago now. They come in a variety of colours and scents including Bubblegum, Tutti Fruiti, Tangerine, Blueberry and Cherry. They also come in two different shapes - you can either get the soft plastic 3D ones as shown above or you can get 2D card ones. I always go for the 3D ones because they have a much stronger scent. This fragrance was the first fragrance I tried from the range and it remains a favourite of mine so I would definitely say that this one is my most regular purchase. Prices for these vary but they can ... more

Advantages Advantages Smell lovely, lots of variety, reasonably priced, long lasting and not overpowering.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Packaging is a little difficult to open.

Last year I got my first ever car. This was obviously something of a special achievement for me after years of declaring that I would never have a car or drive. I got lots of cards from my family and friends when I passed my test as well as some little bits and bobs for my new car including seat covers, a steering wheel cover, some fluffy dice and some air fresheners. I received a small selection of Jelly Belly air fresheners which I have gradually been working through over the last six months or so. Now I didn't obviously pay for any of these myself but I can see them on Amazon ranging from ... more

Advantages Advantages Long lasting scent, well designed, brightly coloured.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sickly sweet intense scent, very expensive.

Although I have owned my car for a number of years now I am finding that the interior is becoming increasingly stale when I get into my car after the weekend. Perhaps this is due to the car being stood in my garage for a few days without use, though in general the smell isn't as fresh as ii first remember it being. I think older cars tend to have more lingering scents, whether that be due to a previous owner smoking in the vehicle, or due to neglecting a cleaning regime that perhaps newer cars are more used to. Whatever the reason, I decided to buy a car air freshener to brighten up the whole ... more

    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Smells heavenly for a short while, lovely design, durable

Disadvantages Disadvantages Smell doesn't last long

I kept seeing these air fresheners in peoples cars but hadn't seen them in the shops so when I saw one in Asda for £3 I bought one straight away. I bought the pink coloured one which is meant to be a tutti frutti smell. The air fresheners are a jelly bean shape and quite flat. They feel like thick rubber so you can bend them and it has 'Jelly Belly' written on it in big white letters. It's a really nice, bright pink colour too so definitely one to buy for the more girly girls. They come in decorated cardboard packaging which you can pull of easily revealing the air freshener and plastic hook ... more

Advantages Advantages Can smell before you buy, scent lasts around a month, cheap

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

The first time I saw these Jelly Belly car air fresheners was sometime last year in Asda. They have a 'scratch n sniff' sticker on them and so I was scratching and sniffing them all and immediately wanted one for my car, hoping that their scent was exactly like what I had sniffed on their packaging. They have a few scents to choose from including blueberry, tangerine, very cherry and juicy pear. However last week I noticed they had brought new scents out, these being bubblegum and tutti frutti. I usually love orange scented things and so thought that tangerine would appeal to me the most ... more

    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Nice fruity fragrance, long lasting

Disadvantages Disadvantages A little expensive compared to similar product but worth it!

I love to keep my car smelling fresh, so I always ensure I have an air freshener in there. I tend to prefer fruity smells so when I came across the Jelly Bean range in Halfords, I just had to try it. They cost in the region of £4 each, which is a little expensive compared to other car fresheners however I have found that the fragrance from these is not as overpowering and they seem to last a good few months. The air fresheners are available from most large supermarkets, Amazon and direct from the manufacturer. The air freshener itself is in the shape of a large jelly bean and look like it is ... more
