I first tried John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette range upon recommendation from a friend, who had found that it had left her hair manageable and shiny. I purchased this from boots at a little under £5 for a bottle, along with a bottle of the corresponding conditioner. At £10 for the pair, it wasn't cheap, but as it's made by John Frieda (celebrity hair stylist) I guess you pay, in part, for the brand. Boots also often have offers on this, eg 3 for ... ...a cheaper price too. It comes in a brown bottle (fitting with the brunette brand) that stores on it's base so you can get the last drops out easily. The shampoo itself is a clear gel like liquid. It has no overwhelming scent to it, a slight smell similar to cocoa butter if anything. It lathers really easily, but I tend to use quite alot of this product per wash to leave my hair feeling really clean (I do have quite long hair though) The shampoo is ...
