...range that I bought – John Frieda’s ‘Beach Blonde’ range is actually very good.
There are several products in the range but the 3 I tried were the shampoo, conditioner and intensive conditioning treatment, so they are the three I will be referring to here.
I’ve used celebrity hairdresser John Frieda’s ‘Sheer Blonde’ range of shampoos on and off for several years now. It seems OK but I’ve never been that impressed with it, I just use it because ... ...I would never have bought the ‘Beach Blonde’ range were it not for the colour.
It’s green. The paint chart I used to pick the colour for my bathroom called it ‘Watermelon’ but it is a pale green.
THE SHAMPOO
The shampoo is called ‘Cool Dip’ (another thing I liked about this range is the names of the products – long gone are the days when a bottle of shampoo was just called shampoo)

I used to have sort of darkish blonde to light brown hair which lightened in the summer, but a while ago i decided to just go for it and colour it. My hair is now quite light blonde (though not bleached!) and, despite what the packet promised, the colour did leave it a bit damaged. Ever since then i have been trying to find a shampoo and conditioner that makes my hair soft and shiney, protects the colour and generally make my hair look half decent. ... ...this shampoo i tried LOADS of them. Toni and Guy, Charles Worthington Dream Hair aswell as whatever my mum bought home from tesco and nothing seemed to work. They worked on one thing eg made it soft but left it looking dull or vice versa. Then, i saw this range and decided to give it a go!
When i first bought this shampoo it was on 3 for 2 in boots and cost around £4.49 a bottle. Or tube as i suppose it is! It is quite expensive compared to other ...

I've had highlighted hair for many years now (yes, I am male before you start) and recently I had a longer cut with what my hairdresser called 'slices of blonde'. As a blonde, I’ve always loved summer because my hair automatically turns two shades lighter, and all my highlights kick in. It’s a great time of year for hair (despite unavoidable limpness and frizz on humid days). ...say, WRONG !! I discovered John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner and I LOVE IT and now I too could be flicking my hair all over the place like the ladies on the TV.
Priced at just over £4 (at Asda) My husband almost dropped through the floor, especially when I bought the conditioner too ! It does seem pricey but the results are definatley worth it. The container looks very much like a giant tube of toothpaste and contains 250ml of 'Moisture ... ...colour with black and gold writing. The bottle states that it is aloe vera- enriched and it gently cleanses and restores silky suppleness to burnt out blonde hair. I was doubtful, but willing to give it a go.
I jumped in the shower and squeezed a blob of the clearish shampoo onto my hand and then lathered up my hair, I wouldn't say that there was a particularly strong smell but it really lathered up well and my hair felt really clean. I always use ...

John Frieda is a genius - no, honestly... he really is. I am not a natural blonde (who is these days?) and therefore spend a fortune every couple of months having my hair highlighted professionally. I have tried all the cheapy-at-home alternatives, and it wasn't a pretty sight. To retain my blonde childlike locks, I have to pay. It's as simple as that.
So, quite naturally, I want my hair to stay blonde right up until my next hair appointment. But, ... ...is this 'dulling' effect that John Freida has bravely stepped forward to tackle!

...got a bottle of this John Frieda Sheer Blonde shampoo a while ago as part of a special offer - buy one get one free or something like that.
Its intended use is chiefly for 'fake' blondes - those of us sporting bleached hair or highlights and the like. It is meant to revitalise the colour and conditon and remove the dirt and pollutants that can cause such hair to become yellowed, discoloured or brassy. Aswell as that it also claims to restore the ... ...from too much lightening.
Now, as I have said, I wouldn't normally buy something this expensive - about £6 for an average size bottle/tube and it doesn't look like anything special either. It's packaged in a clear squeezy stand-on-its-head tube with black and gold lettering.
The "Sheer Blonde" range also includes conditioner, hair wax and other styling products and deep conditioning treatments all at the usual 'designer' prices. I also got the ...

My best friend and i have been struggling for years to maintain our naturally blonde hair (ok, so strictly it hasnt been NATURALLY blonde since infancy, but neither of us are prepared to admit this!) and most shampoos are a complete waste of time AND money. As a student i can't afford to get my hair highlighted very often and the last time i attempted to bleach streaks in myself it broke off in clumps!! Gentle dyes, permenant or otherwise fade so ... ...or was meant to be after only three washes.
So imagine my delight at discovering this fantastic product. It promises alot on the bottle like making hair "glisten" without weighing it down and "tranforming dry, parched blonde into supple, smooth and shimmering silk". You're thinking "yeah right, and let me guess Brad Pitt will massage it in for you too i suppose", well thats how i felt too, but seriously it REALLY WORKS! After only one wash i noticed ...

Firstly I have a confession to make.... I’m not really blonde! My hair is actually a light brown colour which may seem surprising as I'm writing a review on a shampoo for blonde hair!
To start off with I did buy this shampoo for a reason. I work as a swimming teacher at the weekend and as I am actually in the water with the children my hair does tend to get quite 'chloriny' and one of the promises that this shampoo makes is to 'wash away chlorine ... ...but why I hear you ask didn’t I buy a normal swimming shampoo or suchlike? My local Boots is rather small and I can honestly say this was the only shampoo that even came close to mentioning that it helped get rid of chlorine. The sales lady admitted to me that she also uses this shampoo as she swims a lot and finds it to be effective.(by the way her hair was brown too!)
So anyway that is why I use this shampoo! The shampoo comes in a clear plastic ...

John Frieda shampoo is a profesional shampoo, he is actually a hairdresser to the celebs and rich people. He does also a range of premium hair products which also includes a ready to wear range. Some of these products are frizz ease, mousse, detangler, styling foam, ... ...lather and you dont need to use much of it. It smells ok too. It also rinses easy. I love it and think you should try it if you are blonde of course. I just wish I could afford to get John to cut my hair. ...

i tryed john fredas sheer blonde and bloody hell, i couldnt believe it, i had highlights put in years ago, well when i was 15 so 2 years, and my highlights seem to fade after about 3 month, then i started using out johns stuff and my hair became much brighter more vibrant, it became full of body.
