    Advantages Advantages Nice results

Disadvantages Disadvantages COuld cause build up

John Frieda’s conditioner gives a boost to flat hair leaving it looking bouncy and bright thanks to its brightening extracts. The product gives magnificent results but I definitely would alter a few things about the product if I could. I first tried John Frieda’s products about two years ago. I had been given a lovely John Frieda gift set from my brothers ex girlfriend which included the shampoo conditioner and gleam crème for instant silky hair in the sheer blonde collection. I really loved the way my hair look and felt after using the shampoo and conditioner so I started to use it ... more

Advantages Advantages Does exactly what it says on the tin, well it would if it was in a tin

Disadvantages Disadvantages Smells manky, crap bottle, bloody expensive

As a child my hair was so blonde it was transparent and so thin most people thought I was bald until I was three. Still, I grew darker as I grew older, but instead of developing the mahogany brown with natural blond high-lights the rest of my family have I inherited the lank, greasy chip pan blonde from my Dad. I rely on foreign holidays to sun bleach my hair to stop me looking like an extra from Eastenders, but this year I'm to poor to go away (ahhhhhh). With growing despair on the darkening of my hair I find myself in boots on Saturday looking at bottles of sun-in. I quickly regain my senses ... more

Wow! You all know I love my hair to look perfectly shiny from my last op on Sunsilk. Although Sunsilk did give me great looking hair, I have found something even better – John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner! This moisturising infusing shampoo has added highlight activators that after using, really bring out the true colours of your hair. After recently getting my hair highlighted with even more blonde put through it, this shampoo & conditioner really helps show them in their truest colour. The product is formulated for dry, distressed Honey to Caramel blondes and contains aloe Vera ... more

    Advantages Advantages It works

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No smell

Everyone wishes that they had someone else’s hair, but I have the sort of hair that no one would ever wish for! It’s really thin, optimistically referred to as ‘baby fine’ by my hairdresser although even a baby would no doubt complain if they were lumbered with it. Its always seems flat and lank and it just won’t grow. Of course I’ve made it worse over the years by committing heinous acts of hair abuse on it with a bleach bottle. Of course even that’s Mother Natures fault. If she’d given me the fabulous hair I deserve I wouldn’t have abused it, but as a result of being bleached to within an ... more

Advantages Advantages Shiny, silky, soft hair.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Price, fragrance.

I started using Sheer Blonde when I saw the adverts which many of you probably remember: 'I love you, I love you, I love you, love you, love you - yes I do!' It was also recommended to me by my hair dresser. He told me not to use the conventional shampoos and conditioners, such as Herbal Essences and Pantene... apparently they are bad for your highlights, they dry out your hair and they leave traces of plastic. Sheer Blonde can be used by people who are naturally blonde or who have colour treated or highlighted hair. I'm sure it can also be used by brunettes and redheads who want to lighten ... more

This is the best conditioner ever!! I discovered it about four months ago when I first decided to be a “natural” blonde. I did not purchase it because of those infuriating adverts, but because the conditioner had been recommended to me by a friend. There are two variations of the conditioner, one is for platinum to champagne, and the other is honey to caramel, which is the one I chose and I am writing this op on. This is good for both natural and bottle-blondes. As a swimmer I find this particularly good to prevent my hair from becoming dry. The packaging is not really anything ... more

Being a natural blonde I get bored with my hair colour sometimes and feel the need to liven it up. So I get bleached highlights, completely damaging my hair or so I thought until I found this product. John Frieda have a range for blonde hair people like my self be it natural/coloured or bleached. It’s called sheer blonde and they do it for two types of blonde hair, platinum to champagne blonde and honey to caramel blonde. The range includes the following; ~Highlight enhancer shampoo ~Highlight enhancer conditioner ~Hair mousse ~Hair wax ~Hair serum The products are designed to activate ... more

Advantages Advantages Leaves blonde hair looking refreshed and smelling gorgeous

    Disadvantages Disadvantages A little pricey

I was born blonde, but over the years have gone a little darker so a trip to the hairdresser was in order to 'lighten up'. To keep my new found blondeness I tried the Sheer Blonde volumising range and have found it fantastic. The idea of the range is to protect and restore hair against damage from minerals found in tap water, chlorine and general damage from pollution. After using it I can really say my blonde looks less 'brassy' and in a lot better condition. The shampoo (approx £4 from Boots, Superdrug etc) lathers up really well and you only need a small amount. It smells really fresh and ... more

Advantages Advantages Very good for coloured or treated hair

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Opening the lid!

This review is more about the company than the product, although I do use and like Sheer Blonde shampoos and conditioners. They are blooming expensive, but look out for BOGOFs and offers, especially in Boots. I would just like to say that although I have no trouble opening the shampoos in this range, I nearly always have real problems opening the conditioners! I've broken two nails, so now I prise them open with the nail brush or pumice stone. Anything rather than snap off another nail. Then, invariably, the whole top flies across the bathroom, inevitably followed by large blobs of conditioner ... more

Advantages Advantages Works wonders - leaves hair smooth and silky

    Disadvantages Disadvantages price

My hair is naturally a medium blonde colour but I get highlights put in it to brighten it up. I try my best to keep my hair well conditioned as I get it coloured and also I regularly use straightners in my hair. I first tried sheer blonde - Blonde Hair Repair about 3 months ago when I bought it in a sachet, it was 99p. I was very impressed after the first time I used it. You can use the conditioner daily and leave it on the hair for 3-5 mins after shampooing or as a reparative treatment in which you leave the conditioner on for 15 mins. This is for intense conditioning and stengthing and ... more
