Advantages: The smell is really nice Disadvantages: Although promised, my hair wasn't very volumised
...the entire day. Though using John Frieda conditioner is recommended (naturally!) I didn't find it necessary as my hair was left fine without it. I do prefer it to my normal shampoo, Timotea, but it is that bit more expensive at around £3.50 for 250ml, so I probably won't buy it again, unless on some special offer.
So, to conclude, I would probably recommend this but personally will only be using it for a treat as it's too expensive for everyday ...

My Little Find... Review ofJohn Frieda Thickening Shampoo for Fine/Limp Hairby
PerfectlyPink
Advantages: Prettu well did what it said Disadvantages: Ummm...
...was a hairstyling pack by John Frieda. The first thing I noticed was the huge yellow sticker on it - £1! It was worth further investigation. I quick look confirmed that there were three different packs availible: a Frizz Ease one, a Sheer Blonde One and a Ready to Wear one. These are all John Frieda ranges. I reached for the Blonde one, being blonde, it seemed the natural choice! But since they were only a quid (reduced from £3), I picked up a Ready ...

Thick Head Review ofJohn Frieda Thickening Shampoo for Fine/Limp Hairby
ChocolateChip
Advantages: A luxurious product that really creates volume and shine. Disadvantages: Lids are hard to open, expensive to buy when not on offer.
John Frieda ‘Luxurious Volume’ Thickening Shampoo. I have used John Frieda products in the past, and I have been impressed by the quality and packaging. I usually only buy products from this range when they are on offer, as they are just too expensive for me. This one was on offer, so I thought I’d treat myself and give it a go!
I have recently had my hair cut quite short and I always like to use a nice shampoo and conditioner to emulate that ‘just ...

Advantages: Gives your hair more body! Disadvantages: The medicated smell of the shampoo
...very helpful.
My mum had used John Freida products before and had recommended them to me, so when I saw that there's a shampoo for fine/limp hair I had to have a go. However as I have mentioned before in one of my reviews, it is always advisable to purchase the same brand of conditioner as well. I bought the Instant Conditioner and Shine which smells really nice ...

Advantages: Gives fine hair body... Disadvantages: ....of the kind found on a corpse!
There are two types of men: those who believe shampoo is basically perfumed washing up liquid, and those who fall for the adverts and try every new shampoo which comes on the market.
I am the latter - with knobs on.
Why? Well I've always had fine hair. You know the type I mean, it's the sort which, if you sleep on it, you'll wake up looking like you've been making love to a Van De Graaf generator all night.
It's the kind of fine, flyaway ...

ups and downs Review ofJohn Frieda Thickening Shampoo for Fine/Limp Hairby

Advantages: it works Disadvantages: dry scalp
...of sophistication to it - John Frieda's thickening shampoo.
The result was fantastic my hair felt fuller and it held my new hairstyle well, even to the touch it felt thicker and not at all like my usual hair. It bounced around like just like the adverts.
However, there is always a downside and my scalp bore the brunt. it was fine for the first day or two of use but after that it felt itchy and when scratched was flaking. so while the ends of my ...
