Johnsons baby moisturizing bath One of my favourite bath products. Not only Johnsons, the products I used with all three of my children, and apparently used by 80% of midwives on their own children, but this one has the added advantage of being moisturizing. THE PRODUCT AND PACKAGING Reassuringly Johnsons, and pure looking! The bottle is white with the usual Johnson name and logo with the bit I always look out for "no more tears". The baby bath comes out a kind of blue colour (baby blue?) and is normal bubble bath/lotion texture. The smell is like all Johnson's products, which I would assume ... more

Advantages Advantages smells nice, bubbles up well

Disadvantages Disadvantages doesn't moiturise for long!

Before my baby was born I bought a lot of Johnson's products as they were the ones that I had heard of so thought they would be most reliable. When Hope was born the midwife recommended we use a different bath product to this one and so we have only just got round to using this one now that she is 20 months old! Johnson's are very well known for making baby products and I have always liked their baby wipes and found them to work well and be very gentle on Hope's skin. It was only recently that I came across this unopened bottle of bubble bath and decided to use it. It comes in a pale blue ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none none none

I have to ask you a question. Do you know how addictive the smell of a new baby or even a puppy is? Well this is just as addictive. Firstly I love using Johnson's & Johnson's, any product, I'll try it. Reassured by years of excellence this company has offered and continues to offer. I bath baby morning and evening, you see I need no excuse to use Baby moisturising bath, the scent is very appealing and very addictive, as I write this review I am sniffing the product Mmmmmm. Baby Moisturising bath is mild enough even for newborn babies, I use it and so do my teenage daughters as well as using it ... more

Advantages Advantages Keeps skin baby soft

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive but you get what you pay for

I still use Johnsons baby bath for my 6yr old daughter, this prevents any skin rashes or soreness or anything else that can affect the skin. I did change her onto other bubble baths when she was about 3yrs thinking that she was too old for baby bath at that age, but after having skin problems the doctor advised me to start using Johnsons again and it is the best thing that I ever did. It does not make the bath slippy like some bath products can and it leaves the skin soft and moisturised just like it says on the bottle, it also has a fresh smell and not too overpowering, I never used anything ... more

Advantages Advantages Reasonable prices, quality products

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

My daughter, now 18 months, has used Johnsons products since newborn and I think that they are great. We use the moisturising bath, shampoo, nappy cream & moisturising cream. We tried the body lotion but that gave her a slight rash so we use the Boots one instead. Price wise they are also pretty good and I find that if you shop around you can normally find a shop that is offering two for one or a similar offer. Probably the thing that I like most about the products is the "baby smell" that they all seem to have. They are good products at a reasonable price. ... more

Advantages Advantages A great moisturizer for baby and the whole family

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

This is a very good Baby Moisturizing Bath and my toddler loves the smell and the bubbles that it makes. This product is pretty mild on baby's skin and can be used for the newborn as for the whole family. I most definetely appreciate its ph balanced formula and it is also a soap free detergent which means that it is not going to dry your baby's skin at all. A moderate amount of this product is needed in order to reach the desired effect and I find a 500 ml bottle to be of good value for your money and lasting. I have not found any negative side about this product at all and I am actually very ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells good, works well, soft on baby's skin, good value.

I firat came across Johnson's Baby Moisturising Bath with Baby Oil when Tescos were doing buy one get one free. As I was seven months pregnant I thought I'd get some and stock up. As it is she is three months old and I am still only halfway through the first bottle and she gets bathed every other day. The tinyiest amount will do. Packaging --------- The packaging is unobtrusive with the distinctive Johnson's logo and the no more tears teardrop across the bottle. The flip top lid makes it very easy to open one handed and the bottle is squeezable to make application easy. Smell ----- The smell ... more

I love the smell of J&J baby baths, and so I always buy them. Good thing about J&J is that they often are buy one get one free in the shops which is always worth stocking up with. This moisturising one however I am not so keen on. Given, the perfume of this product is light and gentle, and it foams up very quickly (very handy feature when you're filling a baby bath as this only takes a few moments so not long to bubble up) One bad point on this one though...although it says "no more tears" on the bottles, it did make my babys eyes very red and sore the one time I splashed her face and they ... more

Advantages Advantages soft skin for all the family

Disadvantages Disadvantages None that I can think of

I tried other brands on my daughter's skin but they just semmed to dry it out. This was a distressing sight in a new baby, seeing her skin flaking. It was then that a friend recommended that I try Johnson's baby moisturising bath. It contains baby oil so has a lovely moisturising effect on her young skin and the signs of dryness which had previously appeared on arms and legs cleared up in a few days. The product smells pleasantly fresh and is in no way overpowering. It is mild and my baby just gurgles happily if the bathwater splashes into her eyes. I have even tried the product in my own bath ... more
