Advantages Advantages Softens the hair well and only a small amount is needed to create a good lather.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

I have been buying this baby shampoo for my little grandchildren since they were born. Johnson’s is a well known brand and one that I have been being for many years. All Johnson products are reliable and very good ones for the little ones. Whenever I see the name Johnson’s I always know the products is going to be a nice one. The liquid comes in a transparent plastic bottle, which has a flip back lid. The liquid shampoo is a nice yellow colour and is quite glossy inside the bottle. It is quite a thick liquid and the texture is excellent, it is rich, soft and very smooth. It is easy to squeeze ... more

Well the bottle says "no more tears" and its supposed to be kind and gentle. Then of course there is that advert where the little brat (sorry I meant darling child) is whining on the phone to "Mr Johnson" about her Mummy using her shampoo. It made me start to think about trying this for myself, so I guess the advert worked. Of course now I also have a 6 week old baby, James, so this shampoo is a staple in our bathroom. Also because I do the shopping dear Dave (my husband) uses whatever shampoo comes to hand so he too is a “Johnson’s Baby!) ~~~ My Haircare ~~~ I have long permed ... more

    Advantages Advantages Lovely initial aroma

Disadvantages Disadvantages Left my long hair like Worzel Gummage on a good day!

Ok so I have no babies or children so why would I end up using this baby shampoo? Well it's simple really. I wanted to try using a milder shampoo on my hair recently and according to the back of the bottle, sure this is aimed at babies and children of course but has the slogan 'Best for baby - best for you!' written on it which is why when I spotted it in Boots on offer for a pound I decided it had to be worth a go! The Packaging: I purchased a 300ml see-through plastic bottle with a yellow flip-top lid to the top it concealing a small hole. On the front label which has a light yellow tear ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells gorgeous, gentle on your child

Disadvantages Disadvantages Possible slightly more expensive than other shop brands

There is just something about Johnson’s baby products that makes me smile, and feel happy when I smell them. I imagine this is something to do with the fact that it reminds me of a time when my son was actually a baby! I was fortunate that my son didn’t have any skin issues and I was able to use the lovely smelling Johnson’s products on him from birth. One of the things I used was the baby shampoo and I still use it on him now and he is five! The bottle is that familiar clear bottle with a golden yellow shampoo inside. This is great as you can actually see when you are running out and make ... more

*JOHNSONS BABY SHAMPOO* *INTRODUCTION* I first discovered this product when my younger sister was born, and I joined her at bath times. When I was younger, (and even now) I loved the baby smell, and finally made the connection between the smell and Johnson’s products. By far, this is the best product out of the whole range, as it is the only one I still use since I was a child. It doesn’t seem to have changed a great deal, still being in the same cheerful squeezy bottle and being a deep yellow colour. *PACKAGING* The shampoo claims to aid the ‘no more tears’ motto, which I must say really is ... more

When my daughter was born, one of our first bathtime purchases was Johnson's Baby shampoo. It retails at approx £3 for 500ml although I have seen it cheaper in some supermarkets, particularly when on offer. Also available in smaller sizes (100ml, 200ml, 300ml) and a big 750ml version. Although the smells are pretty much the same, you can get a yellow shampoo or a pink one. We bought the pink one as my daughter is pink mad! It comes in a plastic bottle with a picture of a large tear drop and a smaller one with "no more tears" written inside. The lid is also pink. It is a simple design with ... more

Advantages Advantages Name you can trust, gentle, smells nice too

Disadvantages Disadvantages None - tis a good honest product

I have a secret alliance to Johnson's, it is a name I know I can trust and I have used it on Kayleigh since she was born. When I found out I was pregnant, after all my panic attacks and counselling from my best friends I began buying baby clothes and products so the costs spread themselves out over five months rather than a huge panic at the end. I stocked up like crazy on Johnson's shampoo, baby bath, baby oil, nappy cream, soap and powders. I went mad, every time I saw it on Buy One get One free at Boots I got some. If only I knew how little of it I would need to use. Kayleigh is 14 months ... more

Advantages Advantages smells lovely, can be used from birth, mild, no more tears

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none at all

After 9 weeks of not writing an opinion, I thought that the best opinion I would be able to write would be baby related! There are so many products I have used in the past nine weeks that I have never used before, and there are many things that I have been through. All of which I could write an opinion about, but I have chosen my favourite thing of all these! ***Johnson’s baby shampoo, detangling*** Why, I hear you ask am I using a detangling shampoo on a baby of nine weeks! She has a lot of hair, but not enough to tangle! The answer is that it has the most yummy smell! I have never smelt ... more

Advantages Advantages No more tears formula, nice fragrance

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I received a sample of Johnson's baby shampoo in a basket of bath products my sister gave me at my baby shower. I was happy to learn that this shampoo would not sting my baby's eyes due to a no more tears formula. The first time I used this shampoo to wash my baby's hair I was very impressed by the nice fragrance. It lathered very well and rinsed out of his hair very easily too. When his hair was dry I noticed that his hair was very soft and smelled very nice. It wasn't until I ran out of our regular shampoo that I discovered how well this shampoo is for the whole family. I have used many ... more

    Advantages Advantages Smells Great

    Disadvantages Disadvantages NA

Im my own opinion i think this is the best baby shampoo of all time. not only does it do its job but it smells great. the new and gentle formula maintains babys hair by naturally restoring balance without leaving any residue, and its really good use for baby's and small young children because they always fear the shampoo going in their eyes but with johnson's shampoo there will be no more stinging if it does because its no more tears shampoo. it is ideal for gently cleansing and moisturising your babys hair, it foams up easier and faster and it leaves babies hair smelling like new with the ... more
