...10 years. Until I "discovered" Johnsons Baby Shampoo. ~~~ James’s Haircare ~~~
Being only 6 weeks old James doesn’t have a lot of hair but what he does have is a lovely dark downy covering which seems to be thinning on top and thickening at the back (sounds like a lot of men!). Because he has suffered a bit from “cradle cap” the skin on his head is very peeling and we have been treating this with olive oil. Needless to say ... ...~~~ The Shampoo ~~~ Johnsons Baby shampoo is available in a variety of guises. There is a no more tangles version as well as a variety of different "flavours" (what is the correct term for a shampoo variation? – Answers in comments please!) which include Chamomile which is generally recommended for blonde hair. With this in mind I decided to buy the Chamomile version when I went to Tesco's, but they had the original on a buy one get one free ...

*JOHNSONS BABY SHAMPOO*
*INTRODUCTION*
I first discovered this product when my younger sister was born, and I joined her at bath times. When I was younger, (and even now) I loved the baby smell, and finally made the connection between the smell and Johnson’s products. By far, this is the best product out of the whole range, as it is the only one I still use since I was a child. It doesn’t seem to have changed a great deal, still being in the same ... ...*PACKAGING*
The shampoo claims to aid the ‘no more tears’ motto, which I must say really is true. It’s the gentlest product I’ve ever used, a bit like E45 in the cream range. The bottle is very simple, and recently the smooth bottle cap has been changed so a type of plastic less slippery than the previous, good stuff as it’s safer! Johnson’s baby shampoo comes in a range of different sizes, ranging from the 100ml bottle, to the 750 in stores such ...

Advantages: Name you can trust, gentle, smells nice too Disadvantages: None - tis a good honest product
I have a secret alliance to Johnson's, it is a name I know I can trust and I have used it on Kayleigh since she was born.
When I found out I was pregnant, after all my panic attacks and counselling from my best friends I began buying baby clothes and products so the costs spread themselves out over five months rather than a huge panic at the end. I stocked up like crazy on Johnson's shampoo, baby bath, baby oil, nappy cream, soap and powders. I ... ...get One free at Boots I got some. If only I knew how little of it I would need to use. Kayleigh is 14 months now, and the surplus goes on and on. I am saying this as a positive point to how long it lasts but I wish it hadn't lasted quite so long as I still feel the urge to buy it when I see buy one get one free - I can not resist a good offer!
Anyway, back on track with the review, it is so delicate on Kayleigh's skin. She had cradle cap and very ...

After 9 weeks of not writing an opinion, I thought that the best opinion I would be able to write would be baby related!
There are so many products I have used in the past nine weeks that I have never used before, and there are many things that I have been through. All of which I could write an opinion about, but I have chosen my favourite thing of all these!
***Johnson’s baby shampoo, detangling***
Why, I hear you ask am I using a detangling ... ...lot of hair, but not enough to tangle! The answer is that it has the most yummy smell! I have never smelt anything so delicious! All the Johnson’s products smell delicious, but this must be the best! It smells incredibly fruity, with hints of apple, grapefruit and peach. The combination of these is nothing but pleasing to the nose, as I am sure you can imagine!
This shampoo comes in a clear bottle, I have bought the 300ml bottle, but there is a ...

Advantages: No more tears formula, nice fragrance Disadvantages: none
I received a sample of Johnson's baby shampoo in a basket of bath products my sister gave me at my baby shower. I was happy to learn that this shampoo would not sting my baby's eyes due to a no more tears formula. The first time I used this shampoo to wash my baby's hair I was very impressed by the nice fragrance. It lathered very well and rinsed out of his hair very easily too. When his hair was dry I noticed that his hair was very soft and smelled ... ...ran out of our regular shampoo that I discovered how well this shampoo is for the whole family. I have used many different brands of baby shampoo and I think this is the best one I have ever used. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone who has children or just likes soft hair and a nice fragrance when they wash their hair.

Recently my hair had started to look dull and felt greasy to touch. I tried a few different shampoos to try to improve the look of my hair but nothing seemed to make much difference. Following a recommendation from my hairdresser I decided to try Johnson’s baby shampoo. According to my hairdresser one of the main reasons for dull looking hair, is a residue of shampoo. Johnson’s claims that their shampoo is easy to rinse out, so I decided to give ... ...Johnson’s baby shampoo comes in several different varieties, original gold, camomile (which is great for fair hair) one that claims to detangle hair and the latest version, which contains honey to keep in moisture. I tried the original gold version. The shampoo comes in a clear plastic bottle and ...

Im my own opinion i think this is the best baby shampoo of all time. not only does it do its job but it smells great. the new and gentle formula maintains babys hair by naturally restoring balance without leaving any residue, and its really good use for baby's and small young children because they always fear the shampoo going in their eyes but with johnson's shampoo there will be no more stinging if it does because its no more tears shampoo. it ... ...it foams up easier and faster and it leaves babies hair smelling like new with the baby soft scent smell. all you have to do it flip up the lid, squeeze a small amount in to the palm of your hand and gently massarge in to the baby's hair, rinse of and you have done. the ingredients in it are Aqua, coco-glucoside, sodium lauroamphoacetate, sodium laureth sulfate, citric acid, polysorbiate 20, peg-80, soribate laurate, peg-150 distearate, polyquaternium-10, ...

really love this product I love the way it makes my girls hair smell all lovely and yummy after ;o). My oldest daughter has long and curly hair and we often have problems combing it but I find that when we use this shampoo it is much easier to do. My oldest daughter at best hates having her hair washed so it is nice to have a bottle that is easy to get the shampoo out off and where you dont have to worry about where to put the top (like most Johnson's ...

...mummy said it was called Johnsons shampoo and it would make my hair clean and smell nice.
I heard her telling daddy she paid about £1.50 for it. It is in a nice plastic clear bottle and smells nice, I didn't think so though, I thought I smelt girly! Yuk.

Advantages: No tears formula will not sting little eyes, leaves hair silky and soft, adults can use it as a daily shampoo it is so gentle Disadvantages: none
Johnson's Baby Shampoo has been around forever, or so it seems. Johnson & Johnson's was the first of the no-tears formulas for children, and has been trusted for a few decades now. It's clear, golden colour is almost a symbol of it's purity, and it has a mild fragrance. It made hair-washing so much easier for little ones, and can leave grown-ups hair feeling and smelling great too. It has a gentle formula which is suitable for daily washing for those ... ...and other pollutants all day, or who use hairspray, and leaves hair shiny, silky and soft.
I used it with my children, when they were young, and they use it with my grandchildren. Kind of a family tradition, you could say. I think they remember the ease with which they got their hair washed, and how it felt not to have to be worrying about the sting of shampoo getting in your eyes. It's still the best! ...

Advantages: good for all ages not just babies, Disadvantages: none yet
Although this is called Johnson's baby shampoo, it is definitely not just for babies. I'm 18 with long hair and I use it daily, as do my girlfriend and most of her family. My parents used it on my hair when I was a baby, so its good for all ages. Its not only babies who want 'no more tears' shampoo, and who don't want to bother deciding whether they need shampoo for dry, greasy, normal, frizzy, curly or dyed hair. It's a one size fits all shampoo; ... ...a clear plastic bottle with an oval sticker on the front displaying the name of the shampoo, and some information and ingredients on a similar sticker on the back. The bottle is easy to open with a finger or a nail, and the shampoo comes out easily if you turn it upside down or squeeze it. The shampoo itself is a golden honey colour and it's more runny than most thicker shampoos, which I think is a bonus because it spreads out through your hair more ...

Johnsons baby shampoo is something i can remember being used on me and my brother and sister when we were younger and i must admit had occasionally used on myself over the years, ( im one of those wierd people who changes there shampoo brand every time they run out ) Anway when i was pregnant i found myself stocking up on baby products, shampoo being one of them and i had several different brands obviously wanting to try a few different brands just ... ...find that johnsons is just like no other shampoo that i have yet tried on my daughter, tell me if there is one.
Here are a few reasons why i swear by johnsons shampoo
1 ) Just for starters it smells lovely on hair when its wet and dry, cos i have found with other shampoos that once the hair has been dried it still smells as if it hasnt been washed.
2 ) It lathers up unlike some shampoos
3 ) It rinses out really easily saving baby less distress ...

Having read a few opinions on this product, I wish to express my views on it. When I was younger I always had the fear of my Mum washing my hair, and the shampoo getting into my eyes, at that young age nothing else could be worse. So now I see all these products for children and I think how lucky, I wish I had this product when I was younger.
This product is perfect for children, it’s from Johnson’s so it’s a quality brand, which ... ...child’s needs. The bottle has a nice cap, and can last along time. It leaves the child’s hair smelling really nice.
I would recommend this product simply because it means no more tears and that is a big thing. Well worth buying for your child and yourself. Finally a shampoo for children without the dilemma of it getting into your eyes.
Johnson’s products are reasonably priced, and most of the products are available from chemists, ...

Advantages: Smell, no tears Disadvantages: dryness of the scalp
Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo although with the excellent smell and the no tear philosophy, I think that it causes very dry skin on the scalp. I have used the product ever since my son was born, 3 months ago, and I have noticed that he has extremely dry skin on his head. I bought this product because I know that they are a well known and liked company. I do love the smell, but am unhappy with the dryness afterwards. I will still use Johnson & Johnson ...
