    I've been short-sighted for as long as I can remember. And, whilst I'm not quite Mister Magoo myopic (-2.00 in one eye and -3.25 in the other) it is significant enough that I need to wear glasses or contacts for most things, particularly driving. I've never been a fan of glasses: they hurt the bridge of my nose and I'm always aware of them on my face. I also don't like the fact that they only improve part of my field of vision and my eyes feel like they're having to constantly readjust.
