I am reviewing the 250ml Johnsons Baby Softwash Creamwash which I received as part of a beautiful gift basket when I left work. There are a number of other types of Softwash, which I have to admit confused me at first - are they all the same product or are they all different. With a little bit of investigating I have found that Softwash is not just one product but actually a range of different ones, each doing something a little bit different than the last. Here are the other Softwash products I have found (I am not reviewing these products, simply listing them): - Softwash Baby Shampoo ... more

Sometimes I like to break from the traditional bath wash/shower gels and try something not normally on my shopping list. On my last visit to Superdrug I was dazed by the vast amounts of products available and somewhat bored by them. Which do you choose? What has the nicest scent? How much is it? Will it dry my skin out? Believe it or not, I found myself in the baby products section. No, I am not pregnant. As a mother, I do always try to buy products the whole family can use. And as a mother, I can still remember how my daughters (when babies) smelt after their baths. Two of my sisters-in-law ... more

Any visitor to my house would be forgiven for thinking that they have walked into a Boots or Mothercare store. I am a bit frivolous when it comes to buying bath and baby products and my bathroom is full to brimming with all my purchases. I don't buy on impulse though (well, not all the time anyway). My most recent addition to my bathroom cabinet is Johnson and Johnson's Baby Softwash. A couple of weeks ago I received my Bounty Pack through the post and inside was a 50p money off voucher for Softwash, so the next time I went shopping I decided to buy some. I went to Boots and found the baby ... more

Johnsons Baby Softwash INTRODUCTION My son had very dry skin when he was a baby and I found that putting baby oil or lotion on his skin made it worse rather then better, so I was on the look out for something more along the lines of bath lotion in hope that would work better. Here is what I found. ABOUT THE SOFTWASH I bought one of those Johnson's essentials box when I was pregnant which had a good range things in it. And one of the things that I have recently been using on Ethan for his bath times is something called Johnson's Soft wash, it's a body wash with a built in lotion. I normally ... more

I've recently noticed that my little girl has started to suffer from dry skin so I started looking into which product would be best to use to try and combat this problem. At first someone told me to try olive oil but as you can imagine this creates one fine mess, and makes her smell like a chip shop lol. I was then recommended the Johnsons Baby softswash by a friend whose baby had also suffered from dry skin. Off I popped to my local Tesco to purchase a bottle, I was quite surprised at the price, its not overly cheap at £2.52 for a 400ml bottle (sometimes its on offer buy one get one free) but ... more

I am reviewing the 400ml Johnson's Baby Original Softwash. My version has a PINK LID, however I cannot see what the different to this one and the blue lid version (think they are doing it for parents who like blue for boys and pink for girl - however i'm sure my son doesn't care about a pink lid!) and it is 400ml. Who are Johnson's? Johnson and Johnson is the worlds biggest manufacturer of healthcare products. In 1890 Johnspn's baby powder was introduced, and since then all their products have been trusted by Doctors, Nurses and parents. Johnson's have a range of other items, baby powder/talc ... more

My sons skin is really sensitive so I tend to stick to Johnson's products because I know they will not irritate his skin, I have been using this product for quite along time and just like all the other Johnson range I know it is a brand that I can trust not only for the peace of mind, but for the quality and the value for money, it also has the no more tears formula which in my opinion does work , it is also PH balanced. This skin wash is really good it as 1/3 baby lotion so this means every time you use it your skin will be left fully hydrated and moisturized it also helps to retain skin ... more

I have to admit I’ve been on a bit of a buying frenzy recently, trying to top up on everything before the baby arrives and I’ve tried to include as many of these to be as baby safe as possible. I’ve always trusted Johnson’s with my own skin and helped my mum use it on both my sisters when they were babies. I love the smell, the texture and how soft it leaves my skin so it really is best for you as well as baby. My reasoning for getting the larger bottles is so that I can economise a little and have all three of us using the same product rather than buying several separate ones – although I ... more

Johnson's baby softwash comes in an hourglass shaped bottle and stands on its lid which is pale blue. The main body of the bottle is white and then there is another central hour glass section with a pale pink background which has written on it, "New Johnson's® baby softwash™ bodywash" this text is written in blue and pink and then beneath that there is an image of a tear drop dropping into a pool of water with the rippling effect. Written within this image in white is "no more tears®, 1/3 baby lotion, our softest ever" and then beneath that in blue "Johnson + Johnson." If you turn the bottle ... more
