I thought this seemed pretty good value as I usually pay around that for 500 ml of a basic moisturiser, so I stopped for a better look (not that easy as it was the Saturday before Christmas and the shop was heaving!) There were several different packs there, one for day time moisturiser ... ...thick, not as runny as Johnson's baby lotion. I spread it on my lower leg and found it covered that plus the top of my foot quite easily. It spread very nicely and absorbed well. I carried on with the other leg and then my arms and shoulders. ...I heard a lot about Johnson's holiday skin body lotion last year and was very dubious about trying it out. I have never been a lover of fake tans you can't deny some are really good but I am no good at applying them I get it everywhere and end up looking very streaky. However the more people spoke about this product I began to realise it wasn't actually a fake tan it was more of a moisturiser with added tanning ingredients. This really baffled me ... ...the very same thing as Johnson's holiday skin so I started to think maybe there was some good in this product. In the end I got sick of keep hearing about it and having my friend keep telling me I should use it instead of sun beds I decided to give it a go.

...in Superdrug I noticed that Johnson's had released one. It was on special offer and I quite like the brand, so I opted for this one. It is available in two sizes; 250ml or 600ml but I thought it wise to buy the smallest size incase I wasn't satisfied. I'm really glad that I did.
It comes in a slightly metalised yellow plastic bottle that stands on its end. It's quite pleasing to the eye and looked nice among all of the other products I had on the ... ...light tan all year round. Johnson's have added a small amount of tanning ingredient to their best body lotion. So whilst leaving your skin moisturised and soft all day, it also gradually builds a beautiful, light and even looking tan...". I decided to just apply it as a regular moisturiser and see what happened. Well done Johnson's. It does as it says on the bottle, "gradually builds a beautiful, light tan", so I look as if I've just returned from holiday. It won't replace my holidays though, can't wait for our next trip when we're returning to Sardinia! ...

I found this little gem of a product whilst in town a couple of weeks ago. I was looking for a body moisturiser with small amounts of fake tan to keep up the tan that I have already acquired through the lovely weather that we have had (that seems to have since disappeared). There were two types of this product available, fair to normal skin and normal to darker skin. Having a tan already ... ...to review!
Packaging
Johnson's holiday skin body lotion comes in a very nice shimmering yellow bottle. It is smooth to touch and had a sort of glitter effect when the light refracts off it. It has a flip top lid which is reasonably durable but looks like it could snap off if you are a little violent with it. The flip top lid is flat so it is possible to stand the bottle on its base or on its lid (good for getting every last drop out)

...recently watched an advert for Johnson's Holiday skin body lotion. The premise of the product sounded ideal for me: A frequent use body lotion that gradually builds up a natural looking tan. A tan obtained without the risk of skin cancer or any other nasty problems associated with the suns radiation … I had to have it!
The product itself is moisturiser with a small amount of tanning ingredient added. The intent being that if you use frequently (for ... ...moisturised skin, you will gradually build up a 'beautiful, light tan'.
The body lotion is available for normal to fair skin and normal to darker skin. It is retailed at £4.99 for 250ml. It is contained with a shimmering yellowy beige sturdy bottle, oozing class. You will find it with other moisturisers (if only I'd had the heads up of it's location … took me a while to locate as I was searching in the tanning section).

I hunted everywhere for this moisturising sensation but every shop had sold out! Wow, I thought, it really must be a good product. Downhearted I went to Morrison's for a choccy treat to cheer myself up and there on the shelf was one lonely bottle of Johnson's Holiday Skin Body Lotion. I blinked…was I dreaming??? I tentatively reached out ... ...classed as a blessing. Johnson's get a huge thumbs up from me.

I can't recommend this product highly enough. Its every woman's dream come true and at a very reasonable price! No longer do you have to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a salon tan; you can do it yourself in the comfort of your bedroom for under a fiver!!! A few weeks ago I was sitting in front of my lovely television absorbing the general rubbish that is fitted inbetween programmes.Otherwise known as adverts,or Messages as some lunatic,wide eyed, presenters call them.
Well along came this advert with the typical stick thin woman, frolicking around on the beach, whilst grinning wildly. However as I noticed this wonderful Bimbette tossing (ahem) her mane of luxurious hair from one side to the other,a ... ...product.
So the fruity bint had a point after all,bless her. Hmm..I thought to myself,that really is a good idea.As whenever I use fake tan,Ican never get the correct colour to match my albino skin.The shades always seem to never look quite right.So on my next shopping trip I thought I would look out for it.

...I saw the adverts for Johnson's Holiday skin, I was immediately placed under a spell, imagining my new glossy tan in the winter without having to endure a sunbed.
My other half scoffed at the idea, and told me not to spend my hard earned money on it. But hey what do men know about Beauty? Well mine knows nothing anyway.
I didn't immediately rush out to buy this, but waited until I saw it on offer. I bought my 250ml bottle for £3.49, but it usually ... ...but I wanted to make sure the product worked before spending too much money.
The bottle comes in an attractive yellow slim line bottle with an easy opening flip top lid. This conceals a large application hole.
The moisturiser itself smells very fresh and ever so slightly fruity.
Eager to try my new purchase out, I decided to apply each evening before bed, as the bottle reccomends using daily to be able to see results.

I decided remain abstinant because I always looked around and saw the orangest looking people and thought to myself "who would ever want to dye themselves ultraviolet tangerine"? I was a total prude! But summer was approaching, and as I hadn't seen the sun for months, I looked deathly pale under all my revealing summer clothes. I knew I had to do something about it before it started getting warm, ... ...anything like it before. Hmmm. Johnson's "naturally soft" Holiday Skin Body Lotion. Very interesting! ...least when a friend recommended Johnson's Holiday Skin Body Lotion to me. She claimed the results were just the same, but with less fuss and at a fraction of the cost. 'Pah!' I thought, 'Nothing beats good 'ol St Tropez! Matey must have lost the plot!'!
Needless to say, I now hang my head in shame, and owe said 'matey' an apology, as after several weeks of using this product, I have to admit her claims are right(ish).
'Holiday Skin' is made by ... ...bed clothes/clothes! In this respect, Johnson's have failed to improve on St Tropez, although the level of staining is much less than with other products I've used. Once applied and developed, you can expect a subtle, glowing tint to your skin. Admittedly, the results are not as intense initially as with other products, but if you continue to apply the lotion for several days in a row, you will be sporting quite a healthy looking tan in no time. ...
