My lovely Legs.

Advantages: Great moisturiser. Last ages.
Disadvantages: Doesn't have major results.

...shopping on-line, when I noticed Johnson's hair minimising Lotion. Now being a typical female, I have tried all number of different ways to remove hair from my body. Why did God make us with hairy legs? I have now come to the conclusion that there is no easy solution, but wait, if there is something that actually minimises the stuff that you need to get rid of, then surely it must be worth a try. I am not sure why, but the Johnson & Johnson brand ...
...ingredients . Statements made by Johnson's include, 'Helps you shave less often' and 'Soft smooth skin'. The formula of this product with natural Soy and skin conditioners is supposed to soften hairs and therefore make them less noticeable. It is recommended that you use daily to reduce the need for shaving as often. When I first tried this lotion, I noticed that the consistency was fairly thick but that the cream had a shimmery look, almost like ...

...resist. So when I saw Johnson's hair minimising body lotion £1 off, i just had to buy it, even if the day before I saw the advert and thought ' yeah right, like that would work.' The bottle describes it as "an exclusive combination of natural soy and other skin conditioners which works to soften hair and make it less noticable. applying it daily makes you shave less often. the rich, fast - absorbing lotion spreads easily and immediately softens and ...
...PACKAGING It comes in a white bottle with a baby pink lid, I bought the 250ml one, but I think it comes in 500ml as well (but don't quote me on that.) The instructions on the back are a little vague, but I suppose it isn't that hard to apply lotion onto your legs. WHAT DOES IT LOOK AND FEEL AND SMELL LIKE? It's kind of thick, and a creamy colour, that looks a bit pearly. When I put it on my legs they felt really greasy, and my hands did too, and ...

Now hair's a good product . . .

Advantages: Does actually work
Disadvantages: Doesn't go a long way

I'd saw this on the TV but only decided to try it when I got it on offer. Heres what I think of it: PACKAGING – The lotion comes in a white plastic bottle with a pink flip-top lid. The lotion is white and of a cream-like consistency. When you rub it into your legs it feel quit greasy for a bit then it will be absorbed by the skin and it should be alright to put your trousers on. I normally put too much on so it takes quite a while to dry. When ...
...perfumed but it is a kind of neutral smell which is quite nice. If I put it on before bed when I’m in bed and when I see how soft my legs are cream rubs off it little bits. I think this may be because it is not all absorbed properly and/or I’ve put too much on. It claims to ‘help you shave less often’ – I don’t use it as often as I should but I think it does help. I shaved of Saturday for a party that evening and put on the cream in the morning. ...

Gunky junk.

Advantages: Reasonably cheap and easy to find, did moisturise.
Disadvantages: Yucky consistency, didn't work.

I bought this in desperation because my regular King of Shaves product (Woman Vanishhair) had done a temporary disappearing act. That works (see review) this doesn't. It claims to reduce the need to shave your legs, to soften the hair and make it less noticeable, and to soften and smooth the skin (all from back of bottle). Well.. it did moisturise my legs but did very little else. I didn't notice that I had to shave less often at all and my thick ...
...required). And if moisturising is all it's good for, I have plenty other much nicer creams in my overstocked cupboard, and this is a chore to use in comparison with any of those. It has a yucky, greasy consistency much like cold custard and smells like a cross between soap and bakewell tart. It comes in a simple squeezy bottle, but it always makes you squeeze out far to much of the damn stuff so you end up desperately spreading it all over you, ...

Not the best decision ever

Advantages: Easy to get hold of, cheap
Disadvantages: Too greasy for me

As someone who is blessed with both copious amount of dark hair and extremely pale skin (a combination I curse my father with on a regular basis) I was naturally very interested in any product that would cut down on the need for constant shaving. I looked around and on the recommendation of a friend found one that I liked - the scent was nice, it sank in quickly and it even seemed to work. However as is the way of things I was in the supermarket ...
...- arg - summer is approaching I have moved back to the sea after three years away and I need my lotion. I was considering throwing a tantrum of two year old proportions when this caught my eye. Like everyone else I had seen the adverts for this and figured in the circumstances I would give it a whirl - it couldn't possibly make me have to shave any more often. Anyway I got it home and it sat on the side for a bit whilst I eked out the last drop ...

Begone Foul Hairs

Advantages: I Find It Works Well
Disadvantages: A Bit Expensive

...well it is made by Johnson's isn't it, not so. The smell is rather pleasant and lasts a while after you apply it to your skin. Those of you with perfume allergies should be warned that this body lotion does actually contain perfume so could cause an allergic reaction. After using this product for around 7 months now I can only say that I will continue to have soft, smooth legs for the forseeable future. Ladies it also works on the bikini line. ...

Johnsons Hair Minimising Cream

Advantages: Nice Smell, Moisturising
Disadvantages: Takes a long time for effects to show, Expensive

The bottle and the advert claims that this cream helps you shave less often and leaves soft smooth skin. The advert sold it for me and I thought it would benefit me in 2 ways: 1. Less monotonous shaving whilst still not looking like an extra from Planet of the Apes... And... 2. No more moaning from my dad and brother for using their razors and shaving foam when I've ran out! In hindsight, I'm glad I let my mam buy this for me (I still haven't ...
...use every day, I knew that this bottle wouldn't last long. I then see the advert again and read the small print, you have to use it for 8 weeks to see the effects!!!! I think a bottle will last a week to ten days at the most, at 8 weeks that's £32...a bit pricey, I think I'll stick to regular shaving...It hasn't done me wrong for the last 25 years. On the plus side, there is a nice smell to the cream and your skin does feel soft, however, I didn't ...

A great moisturising lotion but no effect on hair

Advantages: pleasant fragrance, soft skin
Disadvantages: no noticably effect on hair growth

As I have dark hair which starts to show on my legs just a couple of days after shaving, any product to cut down on shaving time would be great. The adverts claim this lotion (also available as a cream) softens hair making it appear finer so you can shave less often. I bought this on a "2 for 1" deal in Boots. Normal prices there are £4.99 for 250ml lotion and £5.99 for the cream. This could be quite pricey if you are buying it full price. Both ...
...is great - the fragrance is gentle and pleasant and it is easily absorbed into the skin, leaving it feeling very soft. However, it appears to have no effect on hair growth and I've been using this product for several weeks now. Having tried a similar product for facial hair before, which also had no effect, this might be due to my skin/hair! I haven't used large amounts of this lotion - it spreads really easily, so maybe I am just not using enough. ...

excellent moisturiser

Advantages: leaves skin silky smooth
Disadvantages: hair minimiser doesn't work for me

INTRO Like many women, I am always on the look out for new products that will help to minimise hair n slow the regrowth process. I was in a local shop when I saw this priced at only a £1.00 and me, being one not to miss a bargain, decided to give it a whirl. PACKAGING AND COST This product comes in a white durable plastic bottle with a baby pink flip lid which is great to stop leaks but can get messy and clogged up if not cleaned after each use. ...
...I have heard that it is available in 500ml as well but don't quote me on that. The retail price for this is roughly £2.49 but it depends on where you shop. LOOK, TEXTURE AND SCENT The cream is a really light oatmeal colour and is very smooth but thick and feels greasy at first but it soaks in really well. The product scent is much different to other johnsons products with the only likeness i could really match it to is cocoa butter. Be warned though ...
