...book as a present for my birthday. As being an England rugby fanatic and playing the game myself I was very keen to see if I could pick something up off him. I was also very keen to see how he had viewed the world cup from his position in the side. I was able to learn lots more of Wilkinson as a character than of his outstanding rugby career. Review of My World - Jonny Wilkinson

Since the rugby world cup final in 2003, I have had an interest in rugby. And since then I have read a number of rugby books, mainly autobiographies by the known rugby stars such as Jonah Lomo, Martin Johnson and the like. I have also read Clive Woodwood's autobiography who is the old England rugby coach. The book mainly focuses on the mental side of Jonny Wilkinson's career. The best part of the book for me would be all the quotes included. These were always a source of motivation. The book outlined his fears and hopes for the present and the future. The book gives a clear and somewhat detailed account of the psychological attributes needed to make the top level in the rugby union world.
