    4 Stars 'Those Left Behind' fits nicely inbetween Firefly and Serenity. 11/04/2011

    Advantages Advantages Compelling story, with lots of familiar faces.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages A little too short.

    Serenity: Those Left Behind is the first volume of the Serenity graphic novels. Published in 2006 by Dark Horse Comics and authored by Joss Whedon (creator of Firefly) and Brett Matthews, with artwork provided by Will Conrad. Those Left Behind picks up sometime after the end of the Firefly series with the crew on one of their illegal jobs which typically goes wrong leaving them with a narrow escape and without the payload they were after. Shepherd Book and Inara are still onboard. The main plot involves the crew accepting a job from Badger (remember him?) and eventually falling in to a trap ... more
