...ALREADY BOUGHT IT ???!!.The Junior Ready Steady Cook Slush Maker is no exception.
It was my daughter's 4th birthday in September and she had been begging for a 'slushy maker' for ages. I decided that as Ready Steady Cook was a well known brand in the cooking industry then anything from the toy range would be also very good. How dilusional I was !
I bought the offending toy from the Blackburn branch of Woolworth's for £14.99. The picture on the ... ...By this point I was ready for throwing it into the bin.
My daughter was very disappointed so when Dora the Explorer came on the TV she ran off to watch it, leaving her blackcurrant disaster on the table and I went to make a well earned cup of tea. When I returned to the table to put the slush maker away the dispenser had leaked all over the table covering the surface in sticky blackcurrant ! I wiped it clean and put it on the work top and my daughter ...

When the ice is ready you add it into two parts the nner part is where the small blade is and the outer part is where you add warm water to help soften the ice other wise it gets to difficult to crush you then pop on the lid and and turn the handle on the top of the machine this can take some time and can be quite difficult to turn although the ice does come out almost slushy it does get a few hard lumps of ice in it.there are little white ... ...on the tray at the bottom so that the slush can just drop straight into the cup.

2 containers for you to add juice (flavourng)
4 small cups
4 little icecream type plastic spoons
1 large spoon for scraping leftover contents out of machine.

The Junior Ready Steady cook slush maker was given to my 5yr old and 2 yrd old as a christmas present. They thought it was great and couldn't wait to use it.
We put the ice in the top & the juice in the compartment for jucie and put everything in it's place and commenced slushing... well not quite. The 'ice' does not slush at all; the plastic device used for slushing isn't sharp enough to crush the ice; we all tried and in the end the kids got very ...
