I've owned this machine for about four years now and it has never failed to perform and has been completely trouble free. A huge benefit for an automatic machine such as this. Set up can take some time as there are so many variables to consider, i.e., fineness of grind, water temperature, amount of coffee, etc. However, once that is done you have a delicious and consistant cup of coffee every time at the touch of a button. The only criticism I have is the instruction book which is not well written and can be a bit confusing. Other than that, the machine is faultless and highly recommended. Well worth the rather high price if you love coffee.

Advantages: design, performance, makes fab coffee
Disadvantages: price for filters, makes you drink more coffee!

I purchased a reconditioned one of these from fairfax and have been thrilled with it. It was bought to replace a krupps bean to cup mchine which had started to leak. My husband and I are avid real coffee drinkers - we even roast our own beans. You can choose the cup size - espresso to breakfast mug size, the strength and the temperture.
