KMS are a haircare company based in California and combine stylists and models to help produce products which encompass a certain 'look'. The company was founded by biochemist Jamey Mazzotta in 1976 who combined natural ingredients to produce moisturised and healthy looking hair. KMS produce products for both men and women and have a number of salons throughout the US. Products are widely available from most leading salons in the UK.

When a hairdresser showed me this product I was so impressed that I parted with the £10 that it cost in a flash! I usually do not buy the products 'recommended' by the hairdresser as they are expensive and I don't feel it's a true recommendation as they are making money from the sale. It's called a moulding paste as its stronger than gel and most waxes and is pliable yet gives firm hold of the style - therefore you can 'mould' your hair time and ... ...you need to put more on to re-mould your style? No. I have frequently used this product just once per day but ruffled/smoothed/spiked my hair several times in the day and it has still looked good. Definitely worth paying a bit extra for. It is a white paste with a slightly sweet scent reminiscent of marshmallows and only a very small amount is required to style the hair. I have fine, blonde hair and find this works very well to make a chunky/spiky ...

Quick review of KMS California Hair Play Molding Paste
this product USED TO BE great! About a year ago the formula was changed which was when this new green on white label was introduced. Now it does not have the same hold and leaves more of a fillm-like feeling on my hair. I am SO disappointed in this. Why mess with something great?? I am now trying other products on the market to try and find a solution. (Any ideas?). Meanwhile, I guess I'll lrate this Satisfactory but a year ago it was EXCELLENT ...
