Advantages Advantages Natural Product, Worked for me

Disadvantages Disadvantages May not work for you, Are not a substitute for prescribed medication

Kalms Introduction I don't think that I am alone in admitting that there are times where life just feels too hectic or that there are periods where you have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Minor bouts of stress are good for you as they kick start your reflexes and keep you focussed on things but ongoing stress can cause damage to your wellbeing and can ultimately result in a downturn in your everyday general health. For the most part I am a happy-go-lucky guy, I don't take things too seriously and I try to make the best of whatever life throws my way, however I do tend to over-think ... more

Being a fan of natural herbal remedies this is one my mate gave me after clearing out one of her cupboards and spotting loads of stuff her ex partner had recently bought and her ex being a shopoholic had a few bottles of these all new and in box after box so I decided I would try them! Now I am someone who worries about anything and everything, I get down a lot due to an eating disorder and have been on the highest dose of Prozac one can take not only for depression but also to try help my disorder. I feel that I need some kind of antidepressants but I am more than happy to dabble with herbal ... more

“Kalms is a traditional herbal remedy, which helps to relieve worry, irritability and the stress and strains of everyday life. It also relieves symptoms of the menopause including worry, wakefulness, flushing and cold sweats. Kalms also helps to promote natural sleep.” www.kalmstress.com In the lead up to my driving test in December and my A-Level modular exams in January I was getting really stressed and worried. I was so stressed that I was getting frequent migraines (at least one a week). This was stressing me out further bringing about more migraines. Usually I only get about one migraine ... more

    Advantages Advantages Natural Ingredients

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive, May Not Work For Everyone

A friend first introduced me to Kalms many years ago. At that time I was just about to take my driving test and my friend told me that she had taken these prior to her test and they had worked wonders, calming down her nerves. I had never heard of Kalms before and so I was cautious of taking anything that may be detrimental to my body, especially before such an important event. However, after finding these on sale I read the blurb on the side of the bottle. They were perfectly legal, containing only natural herbal ingredients and they were non-drowsy. Kalms are also non-addictive, gluten free ... more

Advantages Advantages Help you cope with stress of everyday life

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I first discovered Kalms about 15 years ago when my GP recommended them to me to help me cope with a fear of flying. Being about 10 years old at the time, the doctor wasn't keen on giving me drugs, but recommended that I try Kalms as they are entirely herbal. The normal dose is 2 tablets three times day with water after meals. The doctor recommended however that I took only 1 tablet due to my age. I've always found the tablets easy to swallow as they are small, rounded in shape and smooth, with no noticeable taste. I first time I took them I didn't notice any real difference, however when I ... more

    Advantages Advantages Erm, sugar coated?

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Don't work!!!

After failing my first driving test miserably (and I mean miserably - 16 minors, 1 serious, and 1 dangerous!!! So technically, I failed that test three times, lol) due to nerves, I decided to try some natural remedies to help ease my nerves. I don't tend to use natural remedies and, to be honest, I'm a bit sceptical about their effectiveness. Saying this, if one of these types of products could save me the cost of another test fee then it would be well worth it. The first product I tried was Kalms tablets; Kalms are 'a traditional natural plant remedy', and promise to 'Relieve periods of worry ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Didn't work for me

I was feeling a bit down recently and was getting stressed with my children and husband and felt bad about snapping at them. I decided that I needed to do something so I could enjoy my time with them. Having spoken to my Health Visitor she advised me I was not likely to be suffering depression severe enough for medication, which to be honest I really didn't want to take anyway, instead she suggested changing my routine. Pffffhhaaa I thought! I need something natural and went to Asda to buy these natural happy pills. At £5.99 for 200 I was praying for them to work. Take 2 pills 3 times a day ... more

Advantages Advantages Work for other people

Disadvantages Disadvantages Don't work, expensive, useless

I spent the most part of the end of last year taking driving tests, it was actually 4 times, but it seemed like a lot more! I got so nervous that when I sat in the car with the examiner on my first test I actually wanted to just jump straight back out, I stalled before we had even left the centre, and I was just a wreck. My driving instructor recommended I gave Kalms a try to see if they helped. I also started taking them a few months ago when my doctor diagnosed that I was suffering from depression and wanted to prescribe me anti-depressants, I wanted to give these Kalms another try first to ... more

Advantages Advantages they work without knocking you out

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none so far

As some of you will be aware, I've been a bit uptight of late. A friend advised me to try Kalms, saying she'd bought this herbal preparation to help her unwind when going through some problems. "Ha!" I scoffed and rushed down to the gp, only to receive the dreaded Sanomigran, which knocked me out, and some Nitrazepam to make me sleep (!) Eating humble pie, I visited the local Asda and picked up a bottle of 100 Kalms, costing me around £3.50. The small white sucrose coated tablets are marketed as "a traditional natural plant remedy" and promise to relieve "periods of worry, irritability ... more

Do you ever feel worried or anxious, but don’t want to go the Doctor? I often feel like this, but don’t want to go down that “tranquiliser/ anti-depressant” road! When I am anxious, and going through a stressful period in life, my trick is to take a Kalm! WHAT CAUSES STRESS?********************************** Stress is a factor that causes your body to react in a number of ways. During this time, the body experiences what is known as the “fight or flight” response; your heart beats faster, your breathing quickens and adrenaline pumps through your body. Blood is sent racing to your muscles and ... more
