Kameo: Elements of Power
Review of Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360) by Bullwick

Advantages: Great graphics, Unique gameplay
Disadvantages: Not long enough

If you have picked up an Xbox 360 this christmas, then you will know that Kameo is one of the most talked about games on it, and this is why. Gameplay: When you first look at Kamoe you may think "Oh, its just another platform game for the kids" well, you are completely wrong. Kameos unique gameplay offers people of all ages both fun and a challenge. The game starts you off on a pretty intense first level, with no trainig levels or anything like ... Read review

4 years, it better be worth the wait.
Review of Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360) by lilscooter11

Advantages: Shows the real power of the xbox 360
Disadvantages: You can complete it in under 3 hours

Rareware a company known for popular games such as Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo and the infamous Goldeneye on the N64, announced a change of allegance to Microsoft Xbox 4 years ago. Under their proposals they were to make "Kameo: Elements of Power". Since then there have been many delays, enough to keep up with the amount of EA titles that are released each month. But when Microsoft announced the Xbox 360, the fact that Rare managed to ... Read review

Kameo: A powerful spin on established elements
Review of Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360) by Magrippinho

Advantages: Beautiful, Familiar, Effortessly Enjoyable
Disadvantages: Imitates rather than Innovates, Main Quest a bit short

...a great new series with Kameo: Elements of Power. The game is very enjoyable, using a formula that Zelda veterans are sure to love, while being linear and easy enough for the more casual players to get into it. The graphics are amazing, as vivid and detailed as a fantasy world requires. Although X-Box 360's power is mostly used for eye candy, we get a glimpse of it being used for more creative things as well. There is, of course room, for improvement; ... Read review

A REAL GEM OF A GAME!!
Review of Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360) by clarkusmaximus

Advantages: beautifull to look at.often inventive, great sound and music
Disadvantages: not too hot in the plot department......and cliched!

The majority of the 360s launch day games have been little or at all no trouble on deciding whether to buy them or not.....PROJECT GOTHAM and CALL OF DUTY are both great, EAs are predictable and shinier, the same goes for TONY HAWKS an KONG.But Kameo has given me and im sure others a headache with which to choose..... Theres plenty to applaud here , which include some great visuals, splendid and inventive characters and with neat gameplay touches, ... Read review

Kameo- Sexy,stylish and fresh.
Review of Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360) by Mortious

Advantages: Great Launch Title. Looks and feels great
Disadvantages: A little short.

...need superpowers. This is where Kameo: Elements of Power stands out. Kameo herself is a near helpless Fairy. With only the ability to hover, jump and do a really lame back flip kick. But she does have the power to morph into numerous monstrous beasts. From the moment you start the game you're thrown in at the deep end with the task of trying to rescue your family trapped in the castle ahead. Naturally you don't rescue them and your left for dead ... Read review

Review of Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360) by pevil

Advantages: Fun for all ages, nice mix of puzzles and action
Disadvantages: Short

...is where you'll be after playing Kameo. I was a little unsure when choosing this game with my brand new 360, but it did look intriguing and nothing else at launch really inspired me. And I certainly don't regret the choice. The premise of the game is that the land Kameo lives in has been overrun by Trolls, who are ruled by King Thorn. It turns out that years ago Thorn was immobilised within a statue after causing a huge war. Of course, some ... Read review

Internal Elf
Review of Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360) by rayns2006

Advantages: Good graphics, cheap price, plenty of fun
Disadvantages: a bit short

Kameo is a game that is set around the story of a young elf princess(Kameo) who's family have been kidnapped by her evil sister and the Troll king. It is set in a fantasy world which is bright and colorful with entertaining characters and locations, the game may give the impression that it is for younger children but it is enjoyable at all ages. The bright graphics and cartoonish characters will appeal to a younger audience but the combat and challenges ... Read review

...imagine the delight to find Kameo: Elements of Power among the launch titles for Microsoft's next generation console. At last we get to see the game the way it was meant to be released. Kameo tells the tale of an elfin princess named Kameo that, when we first meet her, morphs into a Yeti-like creature named Chilla. In fact, she can also turn into a giant plant named Pummel Weed that can give Mohammed Ali a run for his money in the boxing department ... Read review

KAMEO
Review of Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360) by mtfc06

Advantages: great adventure,graphics
Disadvantages: no

Kameo was the only games title my children agreed had to be purchased; so with Christmas out of the way I used some left over cash to cheer up my teenage daughter, my nephew and neighbouring kids. Inserted into the 360 I noticed that the start up video sequences juddered slightly as if stalling. I later discovered (thanks to another site) that you need to go into Dashboard and change the video output setting from Pal-50 to Pal-60, which immediately ... Read review

Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360)
Review of Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360) by messi20

Advantages: graphics,adventure
Disadvantages: no

The game opens dramatically as Kameo storms a foreboding castle in hopes of rescuing her family. Players begin with access to three alternate forms which have been displayed prominently in our earlier previews. As a refresher, the premise of Kameo is that the main character has the ability to morph into different creatures. Each of the forms has powers that allow players to access certain areas, solve puzzles, and kill individual enemies. The opening ... Read review
