...thought I'll buy a better Karcher model K5.00 (£175), after 2 days use pop! the internal connector became disconnected, back to B&Q for a refund.
In summary, it seems that the sudden shock of the solenoid stopping the flow of water puts the internal connection under undue strain. (the (low pressure) hose kicks slightly when you release the trigger)
