We ordered the karndean da vinci flooring and what a RUBBISH product. After paying £2800, The installer came to fit, after the day was done, we had "gorgeous" floors. After a few days the gaps started to show on all the boards. We ordered the most expensive of the product range available so expected it to be the best, this is almost £1000 more expensive than wood. The gaps have gotten worse than ever and we have 2 - 3 mm gaps almost on every board ...

Ive used the Eletile EleEase system in my hall and with the handy tips from the flooring shop I brought it from it went down a dream! So easy to clean. The trick is to make sure the sticky strips dont get contaminated by dust, etc. They stick really well. Im doing the kitchen next! ...

I recently bought karndean for my lounge, bathroom and hallway, it looks great. i went for the knight tile range for all of it. for the hallway and lounge i went for KP67 Aran oak and for the bathroom i went for T88 Onyx slate with a silver strip in between each tile. After visiting my local retailer i made my choice from the samples, however it was too expensive... £25 m2 they said it would be, excluding adhesive and fitting etc. so i decided to ...

I also had a similar problem. Ordered Karndean underlay but got Jumpax. However Karndean confirmed that it is all the same stuff as Jumpax manufacture the product for Karndean. Flooring suppliers told me they can only offer the reduced priced if they are buying it in bulk direct from the manufacture. Would have settled for that but pushed for some discount and got a free Karndean maintenace kit out of them! ...

Needed to replace laminate flooring in my hallway so out I went an found some self adhesive tiles called Eletile. Thought they sounded nice and easy, but then when I'd pulled up the old floor I realised they were much more susceptible to uneven subfloors and I had to go out and get something to skim the floor to level. They were easy enough to cut and lay and when finished looked quite good. A few days on however, some of the tiles started lifting ...
...but didn't stay stuck down for long so I got some spray carpet adhesive and had to apply that to quite a few tiles. All in all a lot of effort and I wish I had stuck to laminate or real wood planks...I suppose I can always lay some laminate over the Eletiles.... ...

Easy site to navigate round and i received my goods quickly as well. Karndean is a great product, but get a proper fitter as it requires a qualified fitter for the guarantee to be valid. thats probably the only disadvantage for me as im a keen DIYer but if you dont want to make an expensive mistake hire ...
...floor 'dressed' that means the karndean cleaning products are used, which prevents scratches and things. So i bought a cleaning kit from flooring.uk.com as well and it has served me well. Onto the design i got T88 which looks really nice with a silver strip but i also went for the hand crafted wood in the living room, looks great. any advice or questions feel free to email me, or leave a comment, its a really great product and a lot easier to maintain ...
