My experience with Kaspersky IS7 was mercifully brief yet exquisitely painful. And I'm not even into that kind of thing.
SUMMARY: Support abysmal. Never got it installed, so no idea whether it works.
Read favorable review, bought, tried to install, had several hiccups , took an astonishingly long time to download updates. Locked up during reboot. "Temperature rising."
Uninstalled, restored, cleaned up, tried again, same result. "Patient has a fever."
Support phone number? No. E-mail support? Long form, painful instructions. Press "Send" At end: "expect 48-hour response." "Must cool patient immediately."
Unresponsive "response," asked for a call, another non-response response. "Patient is comatose."
Kaspersky support: "dead on arrival."
Happy Ending: Installed AVG Antivirus. See following review.
