    I have been thinking about buying a new Digital Camera for a while, but being extremely busy through the day and needing a lot of advice as I am a complete novice when it comes to cameras, I just haven't had an opportunity to look into it.     Who are these people who get a Five Star service, and give 5 star reviews. Do they really exist? The last 5 star review reads very similar to the other 5 star review..That is all I am saying, sounds to good to be true. It is now the 26th. Still no response, Still no camera, still no refund. Still cannot get through on the phone I can only assume this is some sort of criminal operation. This company should not be able to trade. If you work hard for your money.     This company is atrocious. I ordered an expensive digital camera because of promises of 24-48 hour delivery and a discount and have had to use Trading Standards to get my money back after THEY cancelled my order, without being asked to do so, after weeks of trying to get information out of the company regarding my order. They claim to only debit your account when the goods are ready for dispatch. Not true. If you manage to find somebody to complain to, they text / email saying that they have the goods ready to go and will call to ensure delivery. Not true. No answer on the phone - I had to ... more

    There is nothing, other than the website itself, that makes me believe this is a genuine trader. I'm not just being flippant or exagerating. This is quite simply the worst company i've ever had dealings with. I get the distinct feeling it's a one-man-band. I paid over £500 for a lens and shipping which I've never received. This is 4 wks ago now. Many attempts to contact went unaswered. When I did get a answer it started 'Its been shipped', then 'Its been lost', then 'We're chasing the warehouse', "were chasing the courier', 'we're sending you a new one', then 'we're chasing the supplier'.     I went to Keltec because the website implied the goods would be available on short delivery and the price seemed reasonable - at the time. I placed the order for a camera housing in May. Indications of future trouble started soon after. First of all, the credit card got charged immediately – the only thing they were really fast with! Then the order did not arrive. I had really hard time getting in touch: emails were not replied to.     I was looking to buy my first camera over the internet and I came across Keltec Cameras. Never seen them before but I gave them a go anyhow and boy I wasn't disappointed! Wasn't the cheapest online I must say, but I had very helpful service and advice I will defiantly use Keltec Cameras again and again and I've told all my family and friends about them too, they made my first online purchase easy and enjoyable.     I wish I had read these reviews before ordering online with Keltec Cameras. Upon placing the order, the money was debited straight away - even though the item had not been dispatched. I rang them (it was difficult to get hold of someone) and it appeared that my order was not going to be delivered until the end of the month; after much flaffing about by Keltec Cameras, I cancelled my order. BUT its been 3 weeks of chasing them up and still NO REFUND. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. If you need to get hold of them, the number listed is no good as no-one picks up.     I ordered a 1GB Sandisk USB drive on 9th Aug 2005 as the price was good @ £76.36 and it was listed as in stock. Unfortunately I missed the bad reviews about this retailer. They took payment on 10th August 2005, but I have so far not received any goods (it is now 5th September 2005). Since placing the order they have ignored several emails requesting information about the status of the order. Tthey have ignored a letter to cancel the order and have not sent either the goods or the requested refund.     I have had a very similiar experience to others. Ordered a relisys LCD tv on 18/8/05 and paid £237. The delivery date came and passed and received nothing. I phoned and emailed them several times and got no reply. I eventually got through and spoke to a John Murphy ,who said he was a company director. He offered me a better Relisys LCD tv "because mine was not in stock until the end of September". Have recieved nothing and cannot get in touch with them.
