“Millicano can”

The taste and smell of ground coffee with the ease...

Too strong for me, quite expensive

Our household is a coffee drinking household. Neither my husband or I ever drink tea (I'm pretty sure my mother feeding me tea laced with whiskey when I was a baby to help me sleep is the reason I now like neither tea nor whiskey!) and so we usually have 3 or 4 different jars of coffee lurking...

“Wholebean in an Instant”

published 31/08/2013

lovely aroma, premium coffee at home, good price

none for me!

The Product I recently purchased Kenco Millicano Wholebean Instant coffee from Tesco as it was on offer for £1.99. I thought this was a good price and I have been keen to try this product for some time as I really like the idea of having a richer roast wholebean coffee prepared the same way as...

“not worth the hype”

Now I have seen this on sale for a while and when I saw it on offer in my local co-op I decided to finally give it a go. The claim is that it is regular instant mixed with finely ground beans. The claim is that it is the closest thing to ‘proper’ coffee in an instant. The regular price is around...

Kenco Millicano Coffee Being a relatively new coffee drinker I am unsure as to what I really like and for take reason I have been buying a few different brands and varieties of coffee. I am pretty much basing my purchases on what coffee is on special offer at the time I need it. My favourite...

“Nice- but overpriced”

... but only just. Does not live up to it's claims...

The reason why I decided to try this is because I love real coffee- (coffee that comes out of a machine) my friends from America always seemed to be able to make more aromatic and more satisfying coffee than I ever could- I asked how they did it and found out they used a coffee machine- I then...

brings coffee out of the 'cheap' instant neighbour...

too mild for my jaded palate

New Kenco ‘Millicano’ wholebean instant coffee, as seen in their latest TV campaign, the one where the ‘mom’ goes and rescues her tin of Millicano from her son’s school, who are obviously having a ‘bring a tin’ day. Millicano, hardly an inventive brand name, ‘fine milled instant and roast and...

Not for me

none

read the review, too many for this short space

I bought this as it was on offer in just about every supermarket I went into. At a first glance the tin looks very smart, like a container full of expensive, wonderful coffee. When you pop the lid you are greeted with a vague smell of coffee and lots of powder puffing up as you remove the seal. I...

A Great tasting Coffee

none

I was pleasantly surprised about this coffee and also it was instant. I normally have the fresh ground coffee but this option was and is much easier if you only just want one cup or you are in a hurry. They used the wholebean making a strong full flavoured cup of coffee. When you first open the tin...

Looks fancy on the shelf in it's tin? tastes prett...

no advantage on other instants.

The New "Kenco millicano" . well, In a nut-shell it's the same old instant coffee granules with some added bean dust in a fancy tin. I'm not an instant coffee lover at all,so I thought this might be worth a bash. And actually the coffee tastes really very nice.........for an instant. The mini...

nice taste, like a filter coffee

pricey for regular drinking

I would not have tried this without being having got a free sample from the web site (still on I think so take a look) and was pleasantly surprised. It looks like very fine granulated coffee and when mixed with hot water makes a deeper coloured coffee than usual instant. It also seems to to have...
